You'll need to order the Greenfield Retrokit if you purchased the stand without the mount. You didn't get the mount with the stand because you bought it separately.
No, it doesn't work that way. The rubber foot is not included in the package and must be ordered separately.
The temperatures of 700°C and 27°C are nearly identical. The gap between the bottom bracket and the chainstay is a source of concern. A welded bracket on the back of my 2014 specialized sirrus was designed for a kick stand like this. DON'T DO IT IF YOUR BIKE IS MADE OF CARBON FIBER. When it comes to aluminum or cro-moly, the compressive force required to mount the bike would crush and destroy it. To protect the paint, I'd cut an old inner tube in half.
With a hacksaw, the kickstand can be cut down to the proper size. For this purpose, the stand has indentations at approximately 1/4" intervals.

On a bike with 24 inch wheels, Ghost Kato, I had to cut about an inch off with a hack saw. Because it's aluminum, cutting it isn't difficult, but if you need to adjust it, you'll need a hack saw. Before you cut, make sure the bottom of the stand is at the same angle as the top, so it's a flat surface rather than a spike. br>br>Next, tighten it with a large hex key. My regular tool kit didn't have a hex key this big, but I had one in my mechanics kit. The bolt on this bike goes in a recessed area, so I needed the hex key instead of just pliers around the grooved bolt. It's not a big deal; just wanted to let you know. br>br>It's extremely secure and sturdy once I cut it to length and tightened it down with the included washer. I am pleased with my purchase and would purchase it again and recommend it to others.
My two children, ages 6 and 4, are currently obsessed with kickstands for some reason. The age of the child is 5. They haven't had any before. Only through historical revelations was I made aware of their existence. br>br> In the car, they inquired about the availability of kickstands on their new (secondhand) bikes. I stated that I was unsure of the situation. Kickstands were not included with either bike. When I told them I was going to order them, they thought life couldn't get any better at that point. According to my son, "Do you mean I get my own kickstand?" Yes, you read that correctly. I says. "Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes," they ex "br>br>Anyway, not to detract from this review by a moment of joy only found in the life of a child, cut the kickstand at 220 for Specialized Hotrock 20" and 180 for Hotrock 16". If you use the optional rubber foot, those figures will be higher. By the way, the wheel sizes are 20" and 16". It's unclear whether this applies to other brands. Cut only once after measuring twice.
Just make sure you measure 5 times and cut only once. In fact, if you want to see if the bike lean looks good, you should cut off less than more at first. If you cut off too much, you'll be stuck, but if you cut off less, you'll be able to adjust. I use the hack where I installed the full-featured version of the game. length kickstand with the bike's mounting hole, then parked the bike in my garage with the kickstand leaning in the "water-resistant" position. On the outskirts of my garage, I took a "step. " The 1" to 1" ratio Just inside the garage door is a 5-inch water step. It's there to prevent water from backing up into your garage when it rains. I used a sharpie to mark off the height difference so it would be at the same level as my garage, and it worked perfectly.
This classic design is the best, and if it's too long for your bike, no worries; it's simple to cut with a hacksaw. This was too long for my kids' bike, but it's an easy fix. Simply stand the bike on a curb with the kickstand dangling down the side of the curb, tilt the bike to the desired angle, and mark the kickstand at curb level. It's made of aluminum, and it cuts in less than ten seconds.
I looked for a long time for a single-piece kickstand that wasn't screwed down and adjustable. This is a lightweight and durable option. I ordered the small, but I had to cut off about four inches for my son's 20" Specialized RipRock, so I'm not sure if I received the large. It took about 5 minutes to cut it to length with a dremel, and another couple of minutes to grind the edges smooth. On the inside, there is a length marking. I cut it down to 210mm for the kid's 20-inch bike, and it's perfect; there's no need for a rubber foot because it's thick enough to provide total stability except in mud. To be this thick while remaining light, it must be solid aluminum.
It's worth noting that this one lacks the top plate and longer bolt needed to attach it to a bike without one. Others on Amazon are selling it with all the hardware, but I needed it the next day. Fortunately, I was replacing a Greenfield kick stand on my DIY ebike conversion that was too short for the weight. I bent two other adjustable kick stands out of hollow aluminum tubing that I didn't have to cut.
It's a Greenfield kickstand, which is about the best kickstand you can get. I'm deducting a star because the seller could have made it clearer that this kickstand does not include the top clamp, which means it will not fit on most bikes. Before you buy, check to see if your bike has a kickstand bracket; most don't, and you'll need that top clamp. I have a spare clamp, which is fortunate.
So I bought the 305mm kickstand because reviews said "22 refers to tire size," and I have a 700c aka "29 tire, so I had to cut it down to the smaller option of 285mm, wasting $5 on the difference in price. It's a good thing I was able to cut and mount it myself because that would have cost an additional $15-$20. At a bike shop, I was given a twenty dollar bill. To figure out how long your kickstand should be, use the Pythagorean theorem. The height of your bb, chainstay, and kickstand is not determined by the size of your tires.
