An extremely robust design that is well suited for overall use

I only had a complaint about the front where there were a couple of bolts that had to be bolted in, with the nuts exposed to being snagged by In other words, the rest of the attach points are sunken and recessed properly. I was able to find it as the only 1/2" UHMW full body skid, the rest were 3/8" and so far its durability seems to be good. The wheels of my motorcycle slid off sharp rocks as I was high centered on them. All four tires were spinning and I only suffered a few paper-thin scratches. This is serious "battleship" armor that is needed in the Rocky Mountains. I have hit solid and loose rocks that have been aggressive in their impacts, and afterwards I was not able to find any sign of them under the surface. As an insulator, it helps reduce undercarriage noise, along with preventing splash up of mud and water. There is one down side to this. You lose a full half inch of clearance under the ground, and some of the attachment points for ratchets that you have. The plates are good for rocky terrain and would be acceptable if you were in an area where rocks were common. There are some flaws, but I would recommend them if you live in a rocky area.
