Please accept my apologies for not knowing. However, it is compatible with a 2016 WR250R.
This was a question I posed. It turns out that the caliper mounting brackets on the s and sm are different. Unless there's a mistake on my part. Because different sized rotors require different brackets, this will not fit the sm models.

Yes, it should be an exact fit, though you may need to go to a local hardware store to get bolts that are a little longer once you remove the factory one. You'll notice this once you try to install it. It's only a couple bucks, but it's well worth it in my opinion because it's much stronger for protection.

My 2016 Yamaha WR450F is compatible with this product. The mounting holes were slightly too large for the stock bolts; I would have preferred a better match there, but it seems to mount up pretty solidly anyway. The disc's front and lower front portions are protected, but the bottom is still exposed; a slightly larger shape would solve this problem. I haven't had any run-ins with any of my coworkers yet. I haven't had any run-ins with large rocks yet, so I can't say the security is poor. It appears to be a great deal for the money.
The disc protector is very sturdy. I haven't put it to the test against rocks yet, but it's clear that it'll outperform the OEM plastic guard, and it should also provide better ventilation. Because it relies on existing mounting bolts, you'll need to obtain them if you don't already have them. Added a photo of it mounted on my 2006 DRZ 400br>Photos have been updated. In a rock garden, see how it works. It took a few scratches, but it kept the rotor safe.
For the price, it's a great deal, and it works perfectly. Holds up to scrutiny! I put this disc guard through a two-hour New England hare scramble and a 60-mile enduro ride, and it's still holding up and doing its job.
Fits perfectly; I had to use a small M5 bolt in each hole to secure it, but you should have a few on hand if you're in the process of bolting on extras to your bike.
A 2017 KX250F was purchased with the funds. It was a perfect match. Quick shipping, though keep in mind that JFG appears to be made in China, so expect a long delivery time. It was well worth the money to replace the flimsy stock plastic brake disc guard with a rugged one.
Excellent craftsmanship. Good fit. It appears to be in good condition. I shattered a dsk and had to replace it at a cost of $100. Hopefully, the new disk will be protected by the guard.
There's a lot of wiggle room when it comes to mounting locations. JFG should create a robust replacement for the caliper mount (through which the axle passes). The leading guard manufacturers do it this way. I'll put a prototype through its paces for them.
