The adhesive has a low strength It is graded. Based on my honest opinion, I would rate this as a 4. The texture, durability and overall craftsmanship of the rubber design part was given 5 stars by many who bought it. It seems to be a very tough and reliable rubber part. In my opinion, where this product doesn't perform well is with its adhesive. When I received the product, it was sealed in a plastic wrap and looked legit. It had, however, already been displaced by the sticky material and contact paper and was peeling/coming off as soon as it was removed. Furthermore, some of the rubber flaps were missing or the mold used to make them wasn't being kept up to date.

It was in two small areas that I thought would not affect the installation since I was able to realign it and keep the other side of the peel-back in place. I really like the design and how easy it is However, the adhesive pad did not stick as well to the protector as it did to the tank. A days after the protector first started unsticking from the adhesive pad, it began to unstick It kept coming unglued, even after I stuck it several times. It would seem to hold for a brief period of time, but then it would come back loose the next day.

It can be achieved by fiddling with the settings. As far as the price was concerned, I felt the tank pad had a quality and a look I was looking for without having to spend $40 on something that was specifically designed for My only issue with the purchase was that the double sided tape does not stick to the back of the rubber tank pad. The product had to be trimmed to fit the shape of my tank, but that was not the fault of the product itself. As a result of the different edges and shapes in the fishbone style, it was particularly difficult to align the double-u-shaped designs The tank pad will adhere perfectly to the dual-sided tape. Basically I did my best to make sure the edges were even and I had to trim where there were some overlaps. I have not noticed any difference since the product is on the bike, and so far the adhesive seems to be holding up pretty well. Really can't complain, but be prepared to line up the double-sided tape properly. It looks amazing and I really like the black rubber look as it is an alternative to the carbon fiber look featured on the majority of tank pads.

It's the same adhesive that they use for sticky tape. I found it to be good. Guards are usually pretty tough, but they do not hurt your chest, stomach, or groin too badly, depending on how close you get to them. I wish you a happy shopping experience!.

In terms of the look and feel of the pad, I liked it, but the adhesive pad on both sides is terrible. There are multiple points where it is unraveling.
