Left and right frame sliders, matching swing arm spools, bar ends, and all necessary mounting hardware are included in every Shogun Motorsports frame slider kit. Shogun also provides a free replacement puck for White, Black, and PA2 kits for a period of one year. (For more information, please contact Shogun Motorsports.)

By virtue of their construction and material, Shogun frame sliders outperform other frame slider brands. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-resistant UHMW that has been treated with UV protection polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from collisions and do not shatter in cold temperatures or fade in the sun like some types of foreign recycled Delrin. Each puck has a press-fit aluminum bushing to keep it in place during impact and prevent it from tearing away from the mounting point.

Socket head bolts are used in nearly every kit by Shogun, allowing for a stronger frame slider design in a smaller space. Shogun Frame Sliders with a counter sunk design distribute impact force over a larger area and add strength to the system, allowing the puck to stay attached to the motorcycle in newer applications. Is it compatible with the Yamaha R1s from 2016?

The 2017 R1 is what I have. It's a good fit for my bike.br>I'm pretty sure nothing has changed. As a result, I don't believe there would be any issues.

Is this something that can be done in R1 2018?

Yes, it is appropriate for the years 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019.

Will these work on a 2017 Yamaha YZF-R3?

It should work because the spool sliders on both R1 and R3 require a M6 bolt to be mounted, but double-check before ordering.

Is this compatible with the R1 2020?

Yes, these should fit perfectly without the need for any modifications to your fairings. I checked a variety of brands, including Shogun and Woodcraft, and they all fit from 2015 to the present. On other motorcycle websites, the year 2020 appears to be the most likely. Furthermore, they were a perfect fit for my 2019 R1 and took only ten minutes to install.

The sliders are easy to install and have a perfect fit (Yamaha R1)br>They are also fairly light weight, but the plastic appears to be easily scratched, and they are not as strong as I expected

to put in place I believe there is an installation video on YouTube, but it is fairly straightforward. This is a great addition to protect those expensive plastics.

That is something I cannot emphasize strongly enough. This is my fourth set of show gun frame sliders, and I absolutely love them. I have a 2017 Yamaha R1 and they look and fit perfectly, not too long or too short. I love them so much that I have a second pair with their logo on them for when I want to show him off even more.

My only complaint is that the bolt that held the spools in place snapped. Simple solutions included going to Ace and purchasing a new one for $2. Everything is in order now.

Torque specs would have been nice, as I stripped a small bolt at 10 pounds of pressure. Tighten the small bolts just enough to keep them in place!.
