By virtue of their construction and material, Shogun frame sliders outperform other frame slider brands. Shogun pucks are made of shatter-resistant UHMW that has been treated with UV protection polymer. Shogun pucks absorb kinetic energy from collisions and do not shatter in cold temperatures or fade in the sun like some types of foreign recycled Delrin. Each puck has a press-fit aluminum bushing to keep it in place during impact and prevent it from tearing away from the mounting point.

Socket head bolts are used in nearly every kit by Shogun, allowing for a stronger frame slider design in a smaller space. Shogun Frame Sliders with a counter sunk design distribute impact force over a larger area and add strength to the system, allowing the puck to stay attached to the motorcycle in newer applications. Which bolts go to the sliders on the bar ends, and which ones go to the spools on the swing arms? Long ones have a smooth surface, while short ones have only thread. ?

The 8 X 1 is a mathematical formula. Go to the bar ends with the 25 X 30 (the ones with thread only). br>The 8 X 1 is a multiplication table. I have shogun frame sliders on my 2019 ninja 400 abs, but I didn't replace the oem spacer on the left engine bolt, and I'm wondering if that caused any damage. ?

No, but don't ride the bike until the spacer is replaced, and make sure the main engine studs are torqued to OEM specs.

I will definitely buy from them again in the future if the opportunity arises! br>br>First and foremost, let me say that I adore everything about this Shogun complete set, which is installed on a 2018 Ninja EX400 ABS. For a little more than $100, you can get peace of mind for your Ninja in the event that you crash or your bike collides with the ground. Granted, they aren't guaranteed to save the bike/fairings depending on what happens, but they certainly don't hurt, and they look sleek! After removing the left/right side fairings and starting to remove the Engine/Frame bolts (**One at a time**), it only took me 30 minutes to get the brackets/sliders installed in the correct positions, torqued down to spec (**Very important**), Bar Ends installed, and last but not least the Everything went off without a hitch, which I appreciate. The Spools and Bar Ends, as well as the Sliders, appear to be very durable, and the quality is unsurpassed in my opinion. I hope I never have to use them, but if I do, I'm confident they'll come out on top. Overall, this was well worth the money; five stars all around. br>br>Thank you, Shogun! Thank you for a fantastic product!.

Had a low speed drop when my rear tire kicked out on a dirt patch, had some digs and scuffing on the slider but it did its job, and thankfully the fairings are completely untouched

Also, remember to LOCTITE ALL THE SCREWS it makes a huge difference and prevents them from vibrating off.

This is a basic Frame Slider Set for a low price. It is of a high standard. A torque wrench 14mm socket and a size 8 hex wrench adapter are required. I purchased them for $35 at an auto zone. This is for the sole purpose of installation. Before you can install the fairing, you must first learn how to remove it. It could take anywhere between one and ten years. In the meantime, install an extra LED and a socket charger and relay, which are both inexpensive and useful.

Spools, bar ends, and frame sliders are all examples of spools. Everything is in place for me. It's a pain to set up. For more information, go to YouTube. The sliders appear to be in good condition. I'm hoping I won't have to put them through any tests.
