As long as the buke came with controls, it will work. In the case of an extended cockpit you may not have clearance if your controns are far forward from their original position. In such a case, the rear brake pedal will hit the crash bar while you are braking.
It has worked for me on a Honda Shadow 750, but I am not sure if it will work for you. There is no problem fitting it on there. I hope this helps.
My 2020 Honda Shadow Aero is compatible with this item.

I have a 2016 Honda Shadow VT750C and it fits just perfectly. It is recommended that you follow the instructions carefully when installing on the bike to avoid scratching the It should be easy enough for anyone with average skill to install, I did it. I took about 50 minutes to complete the task. There was no need to remove the trim on the upper fork under the gas tank, I just had to remove the bolts while fitting the highway bars. It's a U-shaped frame I did not have to remove the radiator in order to install the brackets. They fit tightly on the frame, but they don't enter the frame very freely. One of the most common problems that most people will encounter after the install is the OEM horn on the Shadow will sound weak once installed. As I discovered, I had to bend the horn mounting bracket ever so slightly in order to have room for the horn to vibrate between the bracket and the motorcycle frame. The sound of the horn is muffled without the bend, which is as if someone is holding Moreover, after resolving the horn issue, I was not at all keen to have my horn make a little beep beep sound. My original horn was worn out, so I purchased a replacement car horn from Amazon (about $12) (Farbin Car Horn) and mounted it on my bike. Having these Cobra Bars on my bike is good for safety for me and my bike. I recommend them.

The red Cobra Freeway bar set I bought for 2004 was well worth the money It's my dream to own a 2009 Honda Aero 750 for my 2007 Honda Shadow VT750C2 and I love it. With their shiny chrome finish, they look fantastic! My son and I tried them on and both found them to be very comfortable. There is one bracket on each lower side and a wrap around clamp on each upper side. There is also a new bolt and spacer so that your horn will continue to work while the bars are installed. In the event of reprogramming, the horn will stop working If you would like, you may install it. This is something that I can attest to from experience. I would like to hook up with Purely Power Sports and buy a set of those loose parts to fix my horn if you have any lying around. The items were well packaged and protected with plastic, so there was no need to be concerned. It was actually very easy to install. The whole thing went off without a hitch, and I mean everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It would be better if two people installed it if you wanted it to go smoothly. My favorite part of driving the Flint Hills of Kansas is the back highways. I can't wait to get some highway pegs to go along with them now. Whether you ride hard or not is up to you. It does not flake or rust. You are not going to go wrong with Cobra, it fits perfectly with no modifications or four letter words whatsoever. These are motorcycle specific so use the Cobra website to view motorcycle make, model, and year searches to ensure they fit your particular bike. They’re made of very thick steel and have exceptional chrome that resists flaking and rusting. My experience tells me that a Cobra bar can be a life saver in a motorcycle accident. The bars had to be tweaked after such a hard fall but the limbs survived much worse.
