My 2006 Yamaha Road Star Silverado comes with bars that fit perfectly, and the forward-mounted foot controls work perfectly as well.
the registration, it should have the exact model number or some type of clue on it. As long as you fit the bars to the appropriate year, I think these bars will work regardless of what model of Roadstar you have.
Despite the fact that I bought a set of these and installed them, I did not consider the

The freeway bars are a great fit and do a good job of protecting your hand. A well-designed product. They look great and are very sturdy. Other similar products that I have tried have proved difficult to use compared to the mounting system. To make the upper clamps, you will need Allen (Hex) wrenches, 8mm for the lower mounts and 3/16" for the lower There's no doubt Cobra makes a lot more bars for Harleys than for metric cruisers, which is why they use the same upper clamp across the board. When removing the stock floorboard bolts, I strongly recommend you use Allen bits for 3/8" shanks. 1/2 is the same as 1 It is important that these bit sets do not have ball ends and that the extension is at least 6" or 12". There is a button on the Yamaha stock mounting bolts for floorboards It's not a complete cap, just the head There are two parts of the head head and ball The Allen bits at their ends do not seat deeply enough for you to apply as much torque as you may need to remove them. Additionally, I recommend applying a good penetrating oil to the area around the bolt heads and to the seam between the frame plate and the floorboard bracket Take it out 30 minutes before using it This will make it much easier to pull out the stock bolts when you start working 60 minutes before you begin. For extra safety, then take a thick towel or some other kind of good padding and cover the back of the front fender before beginning the I love the fact that the freeway bar isn't heavy, but it's very awkward to get in place if you're working alone, and the As part of the parts kit, a spacer is included for the rear bolt on the floorboard and the freeway bar mounting bracket goes on the front bolt. Remove the stock bolts and apply the new rear bolt as well as the spacer Ensure that the screws are not completely tightened after they are in place. Make sure you give yourself some room to play so that it will be easier to install the upper clamps. The upper clamps on both sides must be firmly tightened before the floorboard bolts can be tightened. Starting to finish, without taking into account how long it takes the penetrating oil to do its job, this job can be done in under 30 minutes if you get everything laid out on both sides beforehand.
On my 2005 Road Star Midnight Star, these really stand out. It was a perfect Even though it would be helpful to have an additional pair of hands to make the installation easier, I was able to do it all Make sure to do a dry run of the instructions by looking at the bike and the part, as well as the (few) parts required. The footboards have bars that attach to the front bolt. There is a spacer to use with the rear bolt. I found that I could back out the front bolt almost to the removal point, and leave the footboard attached while I installed the new (longer) bolt and spacer. The rear bolt had barely been started at the time, so I could remove the front and slide the bar attachment between the bike and footboard, leaving the new bolt in its proper place at the front. meant that the footboards did not need to be wired up to prevent dangling caused by the brake lines and shifter links. You should use a lot of towels to protect your front fender, the bars, and any other shiny parts while you are attaching this. It is best to use a pencil torch or similar tool to break the Loctite loose if you have never removed your footboards before The bolts might be able to be undone without damaging your socket wrench, breaker bar, garage floor, or even knuckles, but it's simply not worth the effort. You can back out those bolts much easier if you heat them a bit up. Even if you are not a "wrencher" (I am certainly not one), you feel more "cool" afterwards when you tell your friends how you accomplished the feat. Tell them what it looks like so they picture it as As Day prepares to cut up Flounder's Lincoln in "Animal House", he sees how much fun it is. I took about 30 minutes to write this The installation of a single drive will take 45 minutes Hand in hand. It would probably be better to cut that in half Adding the cost of the extra beer to the time it would take for 25 minutes is an additional problem. These tire inserts end up transforming the bike greatly from the "before" picture, and the extra diameter really sets the bike apart from an alternative with a standard tire. Bars with a diameter of 25 inches. Having said that, those bars are well made and are A perfect fit was noted between the bends, holes, and new bolts, and no flaws were noted in the finish There is no struggle to align things. In my case, I found that I needed an SAE socket to install the new bolts, but I had to use my metric Allen socket to remove the stock There is no problem at all There is nothing better for me than just telling my wife I have to go to the tool store!.
My experience with them has not yet been as good. On Monday, I'll do so. However, they arrived much more quickly than we Furthermore, they were incredibly easy to put on and take off. The brackets on mine are meant to go around the bars Simply note that the brackets need to be mounted in the opposite direction. I found the installation to be very simple. The look exactly the way they Is just how I would expect it to ride.
Easy to install and took less than 30 minutes. A hole has not been Simply attach the brackets to the top of the frame and to the floorboards. This style looks great on my roadstar and you can be assured I won't damage my bike during slow speeds.
In addition, there were only cosmetic damages to my bike Thanks to the bars, I was able to save both my engine and frame!
I had no idea how much I would like this! A new set of parts was ordered by the repair shop. Other than that, I will not accept!.
The bike was in need of a little wrench.
In response to my first set deflecting a truck, I just got a second set! The bends didn't cause the structures to collapse, but they did bend. Besides looking better than slim bars, they're a lot easier to use.
It's relatively easy to install and I like it a lot.
