Wonderful addition to the book
As I did not mount this step on the side rail of my trailer as is standard practice, I chose to mount it in a different location. too high for a step there, so if I were to take it, I would not be able to use it. needed a step to climb over my bow when I launch my boat, so I needed something on the front of my trailer, and my winch stand was the most convenient option. Height of the step one foot seven inches when mounted on the ground. I measure 6'8" tall to the top of my bow extension. I have a winch stand that is three feet wide A step of this height has a width of 1 1/2" and that is the maximum that can be accommodated As the carriage bolts provided by the manufacturer did not fit the 4" width of the winch stand, I used a 5-inch one instead Bolts that are half inch long. Despite the fact that I still have to climb up and over, that task is much easier and safer now that I have this step in place.

I think my spending on this item was among the best I have done
While owning boats for a long time, I have always contorted myself and struggled to climb in and out of the boat when it was on a It is either hazardous to hurt the fender or to bend and twist to hit the trailer by putting your weight on it. Because I bought a new boat, I decided I was too old for yoga poses, so this was a risk I took. The one I would like to purchase has been available for several years. A few carriage bolts are all that's required for the step to be mounted onto the trailer. The bolts that came with it were way too large for my trailer, so I had to run to the hardware store to get some shorter ones. It was the only complaint I have, and I think my lack of looking for one for a smaller trailer is partly my fault. I just didn't know that there were any out there. Although I'm a fairly big guy, this step feels very solid to me. Besides sitting just at the right height, it doesn't stick out any further than the fender. It has one small hole at the bottom that can be used for holding the boat in place. Adding one of these to your boat won't be a disappointment if you own one.

Steps that are strong and durable
Purchase the galvanized version for long term durability, the powder coated version I bought is rusting badly after just a year
Great step, very durable, heavy, large. I found that my tubing was almost oversized, so make sure you check yours too. Compared to the reviewer prior to him who gave it a star, it seems they changed out the bolts since the threads are now going the full length of the carriage bolt.

The quality is excellent! It would help me get into and out of my deck boat when I was launching it
In this case, the job was done perfectly. My knees no longer hurt, I can just walk in and out of the door now. I am in love with I knew I would have to buy longer screws because my trailer has thick beams, but I had anticipated this. My recommendation for this product is high.

The journey is well worth it! These will be mounted on the winch pole at the front of the boat trailer
While the boat is in the water, I can now climb onto the tongue and get to the front of the boat. I unhook the safety chain from the bow beforehand. For this price, I would not be able to make these myself and I saved a lot of time doing it this way.

Steps like this are really helpful
On my rig, I used just two bolts opposing each other to anchor the bow stop, but it was more than enough to support My next update will be when I see how it holds up to corrosion and This boat has a big surface for getting on/off over the bow to allow for a comfortable ride.

Adding to the boat trailer is a good idea
It was a life saver to have the step once installed. Bolts were too long for my setup & the step did not fit perfectly into the car. You will have no problem with the nylon nuts. They can be easily cross-threaded. Replacing all bolts and nuts with those made of stainless steel. However, the price is well worth it. The supplier is excellent as well.

Almost immediately, the item starts rusting
This mount is far too high and will not My pontoon trailer had a very high bottom step and I purchased this to alleviate that issue. There is a problem with the step's lowest mounting position since it is only a few inches below the tongue of the trailer actually it is a couple inches above. Moreover, just a few days after the step was taken to the lake, it began to rust.
