The one I had was mounted between the left kicker panel and the brake on the inside of the Jeep. There were multiple holes in which you could pick from to adjust the distance in case you were super tall or super short. The bolts for the door strap holder matched up perfectly.
You will not be able to get an answer from me. Neither experience with foot pegs nor knowledge of them.
For 2007-2008, the Xprite Black Metal Dead Pedal Left Side Foot Rest Kick Panel is available • 2017 Jeep Wrangler JK and • 2017 Jeep Wrangler JL It is unlimited. My 2015 Jeep Wrangler JK is compatible with these. Besides that, it cannot be guaranteed that it will fit anything else than what is specified.
The best thing to do is to stay away from it, unless you have leather soles on your feet. There are sharp edges on these shoes that you won't want to wear

Please take note This kit was installed on a Jeep Sahara Wrangler 4 door 2017. This is one of those products that might have been great if it had had two small I was very impressed with the design and construction of these foot pegs. I was very happy with the quality and application of the power coating. You can just feel the quality of one when you hold it in your hand. In my opinion, there are only two issues (IMHO) that can be easily resolved that would elevate this to 5 stars and make it one of the best products available today. A washer - There is no washer included with the manufacturer's product. It is filled with a lock nut that is placed in direct contact with the jeep door hinge from the bottom. To tighten this nut, you need to squeeze it very hard. As I did so, the paint on the door hinges was chipped off. They could have added two washers (one for each) that would have protected both the top and bottom of the hinge for an additional 10 cents. The peg would still move when used (in most cases), no matter how hard I tightened it. I am led to this conclusion. As a backstop- This backstop has a rubber cover on it, and I call it a backstop. A plastic or metal part contacts the side of the jeep close to the hinge to prevent the peg from being pushed and making contact with the jeep's body. Because it is too long it slips between the hinge and the panel on a 2017 Jeep Wrangler. This would have worked better if it had been a little longer. I'd rather have a pair for 99 cents). There may have been no problem to solve, so I was searching for a solution that did.
I told you that at first I was skeptical at the cost, but after purchasing a soft top, grille, steps, etc. , I am very pleased. I was not planning on spending a lot of money on foot pegs, and these look so cool. They are made of steel and are built rugged for use on the trail. It is not an investment you will regret. There is only one recommendation I can offer replace the nut with a small washer between the door hinge and the bottom of the hinge. In addition to preserving your paint, I did this without even installing the panels.
I erred by trusting Amazon's filter instead of reading closely enough the (very clear) description for Xprite's part. Although I was out of the return period, Xprite promptly offered to refund the purchase price and allow me to return the product. I am grateful for their fast response.
ORIGINAL It is clearly marked to be for the 1998 Jeep that I have. However I got the wrong part for my JK, so I have to return them. Installing them took almost a month after receiving them, and when I finally did, I realized they didn't Because the return window is now closed, I have no choice but to deal with them and try to find the correct.
I got the foot pegs very opening, I was pleased to see how durable and strong the rubber tabs were.
My one complaint was that the rubber tab that slips over the metal tab/stop had split and would not stay stuck. I contacted the vendor several times and they sent me a single new foot peg after explaining what was wrong. Now that I have a spare, I should be able to get it in. If you want to protect the interior paint on the hinge, I strongly suggest you get a plastic washer for the nut.
This is a very comfortable chair! This product is anti-skid. If you do tighten these things, make sure you keep the snot out. If you don't chip a little bit of paint off of the bottom of the hinges when you do this, it's a Jeep, and if you don't get some scratches on it, you are not using it correctly.
It looks like these have a rubber protector against your door jam that also looks pretty nice. It would be nice if there was a rubber washer between the bolt and my door hinge, but it cannot be installed. There should be an option to protect the document. They feel good and look good, aside from that.
This is an easy product to install, however, the odd angle and massive cleats make this an uncomfortable place for your feet to rest. It would not be my recommendation to use them.
The pegs are very nice! I like how you look and how you work! We would like it if the washers were made of Teflon so that our cars would not be scratched.
