As a result, I had to order a new set because I could not find it. As a result, I ordered the wrong sets compared to what I already As compared to those I had on, these are a bit thinner. This is an easy In lieu of having mismatched pegs, I have just installed both new pegs on my bike. I was able to mount them to the old mounts without any problem. Make sure that you do not lose or forget to install the d shaped shim that keeps the peg in the upright position when you replace these. Make sure you also have it installed correctly, as if you don't, your peg will not go as far up as it normally would.
My passenger uses these on the back of her bike and they are a world of difference over the stock pegs ('97 Shadow A). I think it would be nice Tapered adapters from Kuryakyn can be easily installed. My bike does not have a splined adapter, so I wasn't able to use a splined adapter with the pegs, but I would not complain about how well they hold up, either. I'm concerned that the rubber padding (which moves a bit) will not last more than a few seasons, but at this price, they can be updated without a lot of trouble.
Definitely a great buy for Kuryakyn Products! I have these mounted on the front and also the rear of my bike pegs I bought these for my Honda rear pegs, but I am not sure if it fits. If I were to modify them just a little with some spacers, I believe they would fit the front. As far as putting the rear wheels on, you just need to drill 3/8" holes and then use spacers as spacers. I used stainless washers as spacers and it works perfectly. All in all, this was a fantastic deal for just $25!.
Even though Kuryakyn says that these will fit Indian Scout bikes, the adapter is too narrow. It fits on the bike but is a little loose, and I had to modify them by using rubber and metal washers to prevent them from rotating. In addition, the adapters are too shallow, causing them to droop. You will probably have to spend another $30 for adapters from them that will keep them from drooping, and I assume they are just as narrow as the previous ones.
This is a great product, but ensure you have the correct attachments. The small ISO pegs on my 2000 Softail Fat Boy were broken, and these were the only ones that fit. This is a great set of pegs that are not only heavy and nice looking, but of a very high quality. The bikes are quite large, so you need to make sure there is enough room in your garage for them. As for the packaging, it is extremely thin so take caution when taking them out. Mine was ripped as well. As mentioned in the instructions, the gun should have come with anti-seize lube, but in reality it did not. My shoe size is about 11 in most boots and my feet feel comfortable on the pegs. For these reasons, I did not take stars off because it does not affect the quality of the product. It does not come with adapters for the bike, which I would have liked to know. My ride has become more comfortable than ever before due to the reduction of vibration, as stated by the manufacturers. It was a piece of cake to install, just make sure you have the correct adapters for your bike. If I didn't have them on the passenger pegs, I would immediately buy another set. This is an excellent product!.
Removed the Harley offset clevis foot peg mounts and installed standard male mount clevises on a 2009 Harley Sportster XL1200 Low after removing the Harley offset clevis foot peg mounts. We installed the Kuryakyn hardware on our bike in 15 minutes with the included hardware. Moreover, the Pegs are also adjustable, which is a great feature! The Allan Key for performing is also present with these pegs, which is a nice feature to have!.
I was pleasantly surprised to find a great price on them. Although they were new, these were returns, so there was no adapter and they were a little scratched. However, the deal was so good that I was willing to overlook this, since I was so happy with the price. My bike would not be the same without these pegs. I find this to be very comfortable as a forward peg.
It would have been five stars if I had received new pegs and paid for secondhand ones that were taped together in opened packaging, but I did not receive those. These days, it seems that this is the standard for items purchased on Amazon. The price I pay for used items should be the same as the new price.
