I mounted these to my stock 2015 Streetglide with hard lowers, but the installation was a bit of a pain
4/5

It's a nice looking set, and I'm glad I got it. The width of these shoes is nice, and I found they fit perfectly with my 2015 Streetglide. It seems to work well with them and some hard lowers after I installed them. However, you should take care to position the highway pegs so they don't hit the lower paint when retracting them. You should also be careful to install the lowers so as to not scratch the paint of the highway peg mounts.

In terms of installation, they are a mess. Let me start by saying that I don't understand why they can't put these together It took me about five minutes to assemble one side One side took me about 10 minutes, while the other took me about 40 minutes because I couldn't get the bolt holes lined up on the side. It does not have any instructions either Nevertheless, I knew how to assemble the pegs since I had previously assembled brand-name highway pegs. The bottom line is making it hard to assemble and no instructions implies a big headache, so plan on that and remember that so many people pay a low price for this problem. Here are a few tips Using duct tape, I covered the insides of the sleeves (the ones that don't have fingers) with Gorilla thick duct tape When I put my feet on them, the sticky part contacts my highway bars to give the sleeves more grip and prevent them from rotating. The WD-40 will probably leave a residue if I have to remove them (but you can simply wash it off with water) There are 40 and a rag in the bag). The way the pants fit and what they look like, I would definitely buy them again. We hope they will hold up well to the weather and use.

I like the look and the way it works
5/5

I have a BMW RT engine guard and the highway pegs work perfectly. Even though these do not have the greatest quality and will lose their sparkle after a while, for the price I will replace them if necessary. As good as any and look good too, they do the job well.

Review of the initial report In the pre- The installation process
4/5

As a first look, I think a detailed assembly and installation guide needs to be included with the box before I install it onto my Cobra highway bars. In the box was not a single scrap of paper. My next update will be when they are mounted on the bike. EDIT It rotates around the bar because of the way the shims are positioned above the bar. One of these fits great with the thin shims, but the peg doesn't fit tightly enough and the peg rotates. In addition to the curved thin washer mentioned here, I'll try adding a curved thin washer to see if this I've made a second editing change As a result, I added a metal "shim" to each side and they are now securely fastened. It's amazing how awesome they are once you get the angle right and tighten them down. They're perfect and came with all instructions. If only the 1 1/4" insert was slightly larger, it would have saved me from having to get an extra piece from home, but other than that, its I like how it looks on my bike, and it makes the ride much more comfortable.

You will need to McGiver installation but it is worth it
3/5

They were initially ordered for my 2006 Yamaha Roadstar Midnight. I sold the bike before they could be installed. As others have reported, I kept them and installed them on my 2012 Harley Street Glide but, like others here, I couldn't get them tight enough so they wouldn't move when applied any In the end, I had to customize the installation by cutting 2 thin strips of sheet metal to add under the inserts that were not adequate. I'm happy with them after I've done that. You'll love the look, the placement flexibility, and the price if you're the McGiver type and can "make it work". If therefore they hold up over time, you'll be happy with them.

It fits the 2009 Honda Shadow Aero 750 crash bar, looks good, feels good and is easy to install
5/5

Some reviews here state that these are hard to install, but I found the process to be very straightforward. Never in my life have I even installed highway pegs. Although there are no instructions for assembly, it took me less than five minutes Likewise, they have a picture of how it all goes together, so that was nice. The only thing that I did have trouble with was fitting the washers between the mounting piece and the pivot point of the foot peg. As to installing the little metal sleeves that are given to you to basically shim the bracket, I found them to be very straightforward. In the end, I used the thinner of the two thicknesses, and it worked just fine. Flipping them up and down is relatively simple, and you can adjust how easily they fold up and down based upon how tight you tighten the bolts around the top. I like the fact that they are relatively heavy for what they are, as well as the quality of the materials. look great with the setup I have going on, with my bike. I actually moved the pegs to the front side of the crash bar (they are normally placed on the back side of the crash bar) because I am long and narrow for my bike.

This is much cheaper than the same quality
5/5

The chrome finish on these pegs is thick and well done, and they look just like the ones you would get from Harley Davidsons for half the price. The kit is just as detailed, thick and well done as the Harley counterparts for a fraction of the price. I recommend you get a thin strip of rubber to put inside the clamp when installing. If you don't do so, you'll never be able to hold it from rotating, and that's what is built into HD's kits. I am generally pleased with the quality of their work, and I am glad I gave.

There was a problem with the bolt, which rendered this useless
3/5

In the packaging of this product, instructions are not included. There was a problem with the bolt that was necessary to remove in order to put in the spacers (the things that hold the feet in place). Despite our best efforts, the bolt wouldn't come loose, even after using a vice. It is not something we shy away from. We are also not weaklings when it comes to tools and other things of a DIY nature. Perhaps there is a problem with the threads. The whole thing ended up being a complete waste of time and money. A very disappointing experience. A replacement of this product may be requested after we return this item. This is going to be updated if we receive a replacement or are able to get this to work.
