Overall, the construction was fairly rugged for its weight. There should have been an instruction sheet included. A clip is positioned inside a After initial installing, there was some initial loosening, but it seems to be holding for the time being after some adjustments. A huge problem and the reason for only 3 stars is that the pegs do not stay upright when the bike is not being used and when the pegs are removed. Pegs slide back down after just a few hundred feet of travel, due to the weight of the pegs. I suppose I shouldn't expect too much from these because they are on the lower end of the product price range.

A very small amount of tension was required to strip the bolts

It was a trip I have been putting off for a long time that I bought them for. My first tightening of the threads with little tension did not work. I opened the package today to install it. This is not good.

Those pegs along the highway

This is a great looking and easy to install kit. During a 200 mile bike trip, these were a great addition, allowing me to position my feet in various positions to make the trip more comfortable on those long stretches in between.

This would be a good purchase if you were not feeling like spending a lot of money on Harley Davidsons. These are so similar you cannot even tell which are HD and which are not.

The speakers are very easy to install, they work well, and are very easy to use. When you install them you do not have to excessively tighten them down, unlike some people who don't know any better. Overtightening a bolt will strip it just like anything else. Our advice is to not do so.
