It is constructed in such a way that it does not come into contact with the body panel. I would, however, advise you to go to Home Depot and purchase some rubber grommets with the same diameter as the peg pin. The paint on the top and bottom of the door hinge frame mount will be protected as a result of this.
For me, there are no issues. It is necessary to apply them correctly. I clean mine with a wire brush first, and because they are lock nuts, you may need to tighten them before putting the pegs on the vehicle. If they won't thread at all, they may be the wrong size.
Please accept my apologies; it is not compatible with your vehicle.
No, they're bolted on with a stop to prevent them from moving.

I enjoy riding with my foot out, and these are perfect for that. I got these because some of the smooth pegs I've used before didn't grip your shoe well enough, causing your foot to slide off and you to lose your flip flop. Alternatively, if your shoes are muddy, they will slide right off. On the other hand, you can't really walk around barefoot on these (which is nice at times) because the teeth hurt, but that's the price you pay for the convenience. off to get a hold of it It all boils down to the type of riding you engage in.
These foot pegs are made of sturdy metal, but they are ineffective. They're canted to the point where I have to reach my leg all the way out to put my foot on it, and I'm 6'1". To avoid damaging the paint on your door mounts, you'll need to purchase washers for the bottom and top. A cheap plastic ring on the piece that holds it in place also broke the first time I used it. br>br>I could deal with the last two issues, but they are simply unusable for me because of their shape.
These pegs mount reasonably well, but not as easily as they could be. Due to the powder coat finish filling the threads, they are quite easy to cross thread, so take care. After a few weeks of use, the rubber piece that protects the paint from the bracket falls off, resulting in some rubbing. But it's the odd angle at which they mount that irritates me the most. They have a slight forward angle once installed, which means they are not perpendicular to the door opening. This makes it difficult to rest your foot on them, which is especially problematic for those with shorter legs. Overall, I believe that this simple design could have been executed much better, and I would suggest that you look elsewhere.
These are surprisingly effective for off-brand bargains! I've had them running for about a year and they're still going strong. They have a very aggressive pattern on them and can grip almost any boot or shoe. The only gripe I have is that other people sit too far forward; most of these people are short and can't comfortably reach them without moving their seat up. I have no objections to this; however, I am 6'4" tall. Before spending a lot of money on a big-name set, I would definitely try these out.
Although these pegs appear to be of good quality, appearances can be deceiving. They are primarily made of pot metal, which makes them extremely brittle. They're also set at a 90-degree angle to the Jeep's body line. This means you'll have to extend your leg quite far and won't be able to find a comfortable position. I'm 6'3" and should have no trouble reaching a foot peg. Bending them isn't really an option because they're made of such low-cost metal. I tried cutting the welds and turning them to a workable angle, but the rod metal was softer than the bumper metal, and they cut through like butter. br>br>I would not advise anyone to use these pegs. Save money by purchasing high-quality items from a reputable retailer.
I had a guaranteed delivery date, and it arrived one day ahead of schedule. I've opened the packages, and the product appears to be of excellent quality. I'm glad I chose these after reading several reviews on a variety of foot pegs. They're set at a 45-degree angle so your foot can rest comfortably on them. I have not yet installed, but given that I am in Texas, it is possible that I will do so tomorrow or the next day.
The only way I can think of to make it better is if the threads matched the anti-theft plugs on the stock doors. That, I believe, would make them less vulnerable to unscrupulous individuals who might want to take advantage of them. Exceptionally well-made and at a REASONABLE price! a fantastic item!.
They came rusted out of the box, and they're a long way from the Jeep. It's a stretch for me because I'm 6'1". Because they were inexpensive, I'll most likely modify them myself.
