I would have to say that the 898 fog lights on the same year Pontiac Grand Prix are not H1's. You can find the link for the 893 led white here Go to http//www. The Amazon website. Please visit AUXLIGHT- The bright side The Daytime Runner- Replace with B087TKXVQX

This is due to the fact that they don't focus at the same spot as a "real" H1 bulb would. The light pattern emanating from the luminary is so diffuse due to the fact that it is offset from the focal point of the housing that it can't really be used As you can see in the image, the mounting flange should be in the groove. This is not the case. In less than an hour of operation, one of the bulbs failed. This was the result of a bad solder joint between A) Lead and the diecast metal body, which sinks a lot of heat (as it should), so it is difficult to achieve Please note I was initially disappointed that the H3 had only six LED chips per side instead of 18 for the H1. The H3 (3570 LEDs) however, have a much higher brightness when the voltage is low. When designed, they both consume the same power per 12 volts, but when installed, H3 is brighter than I dremeled the notch on the H3 a bit to get it to fit the socket, and since the terminal on the power wire is not insulated, I needed to wrap it in electrical tape to prevent it from shorting. H3's 360 degree illumination is probably a result of its free rotation in the flange, which could be interpreted as meaning that it rotates freely. This may have an impact on heat dissipation in the future, but I do not know.

A dimple on the side of the bulb allows it to fit snugly inside the socket on the oem. Because the base plate did not have dimples, the bulbs could not be seated squarely and securely. It's easy to see the 2 dimples on the H1 bulb if you examine different examples. My old set didn't fit, so I had to get a new one. Buying is not a good idea.

There are not enough h1 bulb holders that will take them. The reason I bought them was to use them for low beams since I have projectors that wouldn't fit in I used them in my reflector housing for high beams and though they fit, they give out almost no light. In the garbage they went.

Bright bulbs are used in the bulbs. Be sure to check the fit of the bulb into the housing as I didn't inspect mine before removing the old one, which required a thin round H1 bulb like this one instead of a thin round H1. I would recommend these, however, if they do fit in.

I have a problem with the bulb fitting into the h1 spot, but the base fits perfectly. For that reason, I drilled a hole to accommodate this bulb. It's amazing to see how bright the difference is compared to 200 percent. Well, it was 300 percent darker than I expected. It is brighter and will save you money if you use the original halogen bulb. You will not be satisfied with theses if you buy something else.

Low beams with super low power.

The reflected light is brilliant, but the projected light is terrible. Rather than being plug and play, they required modifications to be installed. I purchased this light two months ago, and already one of the bulbs has It would not be a good idea to use.
