This is a fantastic solution. The old one was cut off (it was trash anyway), the bar and throttle were cleaned, and the grips were sprayed with hair spray and slid right on. I got them lined up the way I wanted them and then waited for the hairspray to dry for about 24 hours. They've been out a few times now and look and feel great. My sons each have a green pair. These were mounted on an X-bike. MOTO DB- W008 HX125 Deluxe is a high-end version of the W008 HX125.
I use 409 spray cleaner to spritz down the grips and slide them on; after they dry, they'll need to be cut off to remove. A small amount of dish soap or any other liquid with a small amount of soap in it will do the trick. When soap dries, it has the consistency of glue.
Feel good about yourself and how you look. Grip is of good quality.
It's not the quality they claim; it's just OK. When I use this, I always get enraged.
125 They're a little shorter than the Yamaha grips that came with the bike. I'm not sure if they'll stretch out a little with use and time. Because these are a little rough, I recommend wearing gloves with them. However, they appear to be excellent. It was well worth the money.
It looks good, but it doesn't have the same grippy feel as my other pro taper (pillowtop?). ) grips. These would look great on a pit bike or a show bike. I rode with them for an entire day through the woods in all kinds of terrain and they were fine, but my other pro taper grips are much more grippy. Aside from that, they appear to be in excellent condition and fit well.
These were not compatible with my grandson's Yamaha. Because it goes way beyond year, make, and model, Amazon should review compatibility with specific dirt bike parts. When it comes to grips, it's all about the size of the bar. Although Renthal bars are standard, who's to say they weren't replaced with Pro Tapers? br>I ended up giving these to a friend of mine whose daughter owns a Yamaha YZ125. They were a perfect fit for her bike.
If you don't want to cut them, you can use a screwdriver and an air compressor with a blower to remove them.
