My volume buttons were obstructed by the clamps, but I am sure they were secure with the rubber bands back up. The model should not be used. A two-piece set takes shape right out of the box. Incorrect engineering led to the failure of the unit. In order to keep it together, the ball must first be fitted into the socket, then the socket must be tightened. I would not have been able to put the ball into the socket with the tightening nut applied if I didn't own a vice. Since the threads of the lock nut were not aligned, it was not possible to thread it once the socket was installed. I have a Lifeproof case that cracked due to the unit shaking so much while the Harley is running. It is still difficult to find a phone holder that is suitable for me. This stuff is not worth buying.

Until now, all has been well. As of now, I have not been having any issues while installing on my 2008 C50t. This phone holder has so far proven to be completely reliable. If anything happens while riding, I will update you. This is one of the main things. Due to the way it bolts on, I think I cannot leave it on the motorcycle. If I take it away to store, I feel I might return to find it missing when I come out.
