I had no problems with it working as advertised, with no binding of the threads in the pulling screw and the pull plate fitting right behind the bearing race without any issues

This puller is priced midway between high and low

As the name implies, it is not made in the USA and is of a mid-range price. Having only built the toolset for the future, I have not had to use it yet. The bearings won't need to be welded to the shaft if the shaft isn't completely welded to the bearings.
