Questions & Answers
The 660 has a hotter boiling temperature.
One bottle is all there is. The title of the book on Amazon is inaccurate.
There is no such thing as "expiration" when it comes to brake fluid. It has the ability to absorb moisture. However, you will be fine as long as your bottle is sealed.
This brake fluid is designed for use in vehicles that will be subjected to more extreme conditions, such as road racing or high-performance driver training. Because of its high cost, it isn't really suitable for street use; however, I use it in my Porsche Boxster and my Pontiac GTO. This fluid will help prevent brake overheating and fade if you plan to track your car (use it on a road course).

Check the back of your bottle for the expiration date; Motul recommends two years from the date of manufacture. br>Date format is listed in Euro standard (day / month / year)br>Pic of my bottle, which has a May 13, 2016 production datebr>It was returned, so I'm curious if the replacement is any better. br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: The new bottle was two years old and in perfect working order. The rating has been raised from two to four stars, but please double-check the date code.
Snowmobiles, unlike sport bikes, quads, and dirt bikes, are heavier and have only one caliper and rotor to stop you. This is fine for most riders, but when racing, these brakes generate insane amounts of heat in just a few corners. (I'm going to melt my boot against the brake guard right next to my foot. ) Despite these conditions, I experience very little brake fade, even on some of the track's tightest sections. While brand new dot 4 fluid purchased from an auto parts store would only last about three laps on an ice oval before boiling, this fluid does not appear to boil. To avoid any boiling, I do replace it right before each race.
This is the fluid I bought for my Focus ST. I compete in autocross, time trials, and track days on a regular basis with my car. I had heard nothing but good things about this fluid, so I decided to try it, and I'm glad I did. Unlike the stock fluid, there is no fade during the 7-day period. When driving at a speed of 8/10, you'll barely notice a difference, and at a speed of 10/10, you'll notice It's worth noting that At the same time as the fluid, I swapped out the stock brake pads for Hawk Performance brake pads. I've driven my car on track for more than 10 minutes at a time at speeds approaching 120 mph, and the pedals are still holding up. br>It's a little on the pricey side, but not out of line.
WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO OUT AND GET IT! In my opinion, this is the best product on the market. I used 660 in my track mustang, truck, and three motorcycles with excellent results. You're going to have a hard time boiling this! Because it's so resilient, you'll be able to brake consistently, resulting in faster lap times and increased safety. This is the stuff for you if you just want the best in your cars and don't mind if it's "overkill"! GO OUT AND BUY IT NOW!.
To begin with, Motul is one of my favorite brands. Great, no-nonsense company that tells you exactly what kind of performance you can expect from their products. I just wish this fluid wasn't the same color as slightly used fluid so you could tell when the factory stuff had been bled out. I also wish the jug contained a little more. It wasn't quite enough to bleed and re-bleed all four calipers. fill the reservoir with water.
And there are results to back it up. Except for the first race, when my old brake fluid on my 2017 ZL1 failed and boiled, I've used rbf 660 in every race this season. I switched to a motul rbf 660 and have been using it ever since. The same sensation is felt by brake bedal.
The bottle had a December 2017 production date. It's been over a year and a half since the expiration date. Requested a replacement, which came with the same dates and was also expired. br>I had a horrible time.
The bottle I received had a 2017 date on it.
