It's jet black, not jet black, I misspoke.
When changing grease types/brands/etc., it's best to follow best practices. that you should thoroughly flush the bearings with solvent until all of the old grease residue has been removed. THEN replace the old items with the new ones. Whenever I inspect and adjust wheel bearings for wear, I flush and repack them. br>BONUS if you flush every time. You KNOW you flushed out all worn metal dust, bits, and other crud that may have accumulated inside.
Royal Purple UPG is a NLGI 2 grease, which means it's a lot thicker than an NLGI 000 grease, which is only semi-thick. fluid. When an NLGI 000 grease is required, I would not use UPG 2.
It's what I use on ball joints and tie-downs. It's a great set of rod ends! There's no reason why it wouldn't work on u-verse. in addition to joints

If you're going to use it to supplement or replace an existing non-profit organization, It will liquefy non-synthetic grease. Because synthetic grease is difficult to replace, it must be done in three steps. br>br>1) Use a single full pump to apply the product. br>2) Allow the synthetic grease to liquefy any non-electrolyte materials overnight. br>3) Re-apply synthetic grease, which means you'll have to clean up the "weeping" of the liquified previous grease that leaks out! Follow the manufacturer's instructions for applying the synthetic grease.
But I put some in a small container for cleaning my guns; if it can handle the extreme stress of automobile use, it should be fine with my guns. br> I put a small amount on slides and other places where parts really need protection from wear; it doesn't take much! br> I always clean my guns after each use, and I am a very satisfied customer!.
While hanging on my tool box, purple color spilled from the grease gun and onto the floor. Grease is fine, but I don't want it to create a mess that I'll have to clean up. ) I've heard good things about Amsoil Off Road NLGI, so that's what I'll try next.
So far, it's working well, but we'll see how long it lasts. The problem is that it will liquefy any leftover regular grease, necessitating a reapplication. Doesn't make me feel at ease. It's preferable to disassemble it, clean the bearing, and reassemble it with fresh grease. Also, the first one I received was shattered due to a lack of packaging protection.
Royal Purple is known for producing high-quality products, but this time the grease has fallen short. I've been using the grease gun at chassis lubrication points on my trucks, and every time I pick it up, more liquid leaks out. This grease's oil separates quickly, leading me to doubt its lubricating abilities. Lucas Red is a product that I would suggest. This will always win out over tacky.
Because the other manufacturer's product settled out like ketchup, I decided to give this a try instead of another top-of-the-line synthetic grease. My grease gun was always dripping liquid, like the watery stuff at the top of a ketchup bottle. While the manufacturer of the other product stated that this separating was not a problem, I am unable to recommend it because if it separates in my grease gun, it will do so in a ball joint or another area where I require grease stability to protect and lubricate parts over time. br>However, there is some good news: The Royal Purple grease has not shown any of the side effects that the other manufacturer's product has, and I've been pleased with it so far. Long-term testing will determine whether it performs better than standard grease, but I expect it to do so significantly better because Royal Purple is known for producing high-quality products. br>br>For the record, I've had no problems with Royal Purple products in my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup over 100,000 miles.
I wouldn't use this grease on any splined shafts or applications that require a lot of pressure. I used this on a splined shaft for my Volvo Penta outdrive, and the grease dried and burned up in less than a year. Use a cv joint grease that contains moly. I really like royal purple products, but this grease is terrible.
01312 NLGI No. 01312 NLGI No. 01312 NLGI 2 quarts of high-performance grease This is a high-quality, high-performance grease, as are all Royal Purple Synthetic Products. I had all of the front end parts of my 1994 GMC K-Series. The original factory parts were worn-out and had to be replaced with Moog premium parts with a lifetime warranty. I immediately noticed a smoother ride and operating ease with this grease, much better than the old "Dino" type, it's a little more expensive, but I'm sure it will last and protect against wear much better, Thanks Amazon for the ability to find and receive such a high quality product in such a short time, and to Royal Purple for your wonderful products.
