Yes, it's safe for rubber bushings as well, but do a spot test and be cautious, as gpower suggested. I'm not sure about silicone, but since it's synthetic, formula 5 shouldn't affect it in any way.

I bought 9 because I couldn't figure out what the difference was. 11104 and I'd are good for poly bushings; I used them to install poly trailing arm bushings.

After a few days, both of the others began to squeak. It's not fun to have to take them down to re-wire them. grease. This was recommended on a car forum, so I gave it a shot. WOW! There hasn't been any squeaking for two months. This is a sticky silicone grease that says "I'm not going anywhere. " I applied it with one of those throwaway tin acid/flux brushes. Make use of the tossable gloves as well. It's difficult to remove your hands from the situation.
This stuff is incredible! However, a word of caution: WEAR GLOVES AND DON'T GET IT ON YOUR HANDS! This is some of the stickiest stuff on the planet, but it'll help your bushings out a lot.
On my 2003, I used lithium grease to grease the sway bar bushings. 5 Mazdaspeed Protege and found myself re-acquainted with the vehicle. 2 times a week, grease 3 weeks. It's been almost two months since I've had to re-lube with Energy Suspension prelube grease. my bushings should be greased This is when it comes to drying on sunny days versus rainy, wet days. It's a fantastic product, and I highly recommend it if your suspension is making squeaking noises.

On a 4X4, I rebuilt the steering and suspension. After reading numerous reviews claiming that poly bushings are extremely squeaky when cold, I was undecided about whether to use rubber or poly bushings. That, I believe, is due to people not using grease at all or not using the proper grease. This is the right kind of lubricant. It is, however, extremely tacky and untidy. I first used this about three years ago, and the bushings have yet to squeak.
Although the product is extremely sticky, it performs admirably. Make sure you clean up after yourself and keep it away from your clothes, as it will stain them.
Every 2-minutes with Mobil is a 2-minutes with Mobil. There'd be a squeak after three weeks. This is especially true in the winter. After several months, everything appears to be in order.
