I have a 570 and am curious as to why special grease is required for this particular fitting on the machine. ?

When the clutch grabs, these machines can be a little rough. It's not exactly silky. The Moly additive protects the drive joint by cushioning it. Think of it as a positive track rear end that reduces wear and noise. The back is noisy and teases itself apart without the popper additive.
