It is 365 days a year that I ride my bike, so I am always trying new lubes. The Dupont chain saver has always been my go-to because it doesn't collect road grime and doesn't fling that much on the bike. I bought this and am pleased with it, as it has some fling, but keeps my chain running smoothly and easily. I am looking forward to Motorex's Adventure lube as it is supposed to be a hybrid product in the middle of a road and off-road formula Formula for calculating distance on a road. As long as I can keep using this stuff, I will.
Generally speaking, I can't stand the thin, clear, and white lubes but I do like to use a few different types. The only real downside to Motorex is the price. I would usually prefer something a bit thicker with color, as it makes it easier to judge how much is being applied and where, and also indicates how well it's holding up. While it is good for penetration into the skin, it is not good for skin-deep absorption The perfect way to finish off a good cleaning is to use the Motorex Chain Clean afterward. As a result of all the variables involved with chain lube, it is tough to tell, at the end of the day, what's more effective.
Designed for deep penetration, this thin oil has a thin consistency. Since it does not attract/hold sand and dirt like chain wax and other heavy oils do, I like it. Since the Motorex doesn't attract sand, I feel I need to apply it more often than heavy oil or wax. The longer the chain lasts, the more frequent those applications are needed.
I like this product.
There is a bit too much oil. Days go by in which it drips. I like this a lot. There is a bit too much oil. Days go by as it drips. Besides that, it's a great program!.
The product is easy to apply and lasts for a longer period of time.
nozzle of the lubricant broke off when I removed the cap from the bottle. My bottle of lube has a broken cap, and I have no way to use it. What a hassle.
About a year ago, I first got this on my KTM 250 and I'm still using it today. Although dirt does not stick to it very well, it does not stick at all to gnarly weather Even though one can costs a bit, I have cleaned over a dozen chains with it.
