Toyota only recommends this coolant, as far as I'm aware.
Scion is a Toyota brand, not a Nissan brand. However, I am unable to say whether your Scion uses pink or red coolant. Look for the service manual on the Toyota Owners website and check it out.
Ingredients from Toyota. Lol

BUT WHY WAS IT OPEN IN THE FIRST PLACE? When I received the package, it was noticeably damp on one side, with condensation on the carton's and shipping container's exteriors. When I opened the coolant, I noticed that the seal had clearly been broken. Was it possible that the coolant had been used? Wtf? I poured it in anyway because the car isn't concerned with germs. I had no idea I was purchasing genuine Toyota coolant that had been previously used. Whatever the case may be, it is effective.
Is it really necessary for me to go out and buy some Hello Kitty-themed liquid to put in my car, Toyota? I'm sorry, but this is just so unmanly. Yes, I understand that this is "special" antifreeze that only works with my specific car, but couldn't we go with a more manly color like blue or maybe Lumberjack Plaid? Toyota Engineers, get on it! This antifreeze is recommended for your Lexus 1st Generation.
This product is slightly more expensive than the concentrate, but I am lazy to do a 50/50 ratio, and it is also less expensive than having Lexus do it. br>br>This product is slightly more expensive than the concentrate, but it is also less expensive than having Lexus do it. Save money and do it yourself in either case, and you'll have leftover coolant for future use or for other vehicles. br>br>The coolant is pink, which corresponds to the color and Lexus's recommendation. I'm unable to comment on the performance other than to say that it keeps the car cool as it should be. Used in the Lexus IS 300 2018 and Lexus ES 350 2013. )br>br>.
This is the genuine article that came out of the factory with our vehicles. My only complaint is that the premix is $30 per gallon. br>br>It works as advertised with no problems. br>br>My only gripe is that the stuff is $30 per gallon. There are a number of comparable products on the market that have good reviews and cost less than $30 per gallon (technically two gallons of premix if you buy a gallon of distilled). Aside from that, it came in the same old familiar prime box we've come to expect, with no leaks or issues.
This was $10 less than what I would have paid at the dealer, and it arrived in two days. What is there not to like about this? My two Toyotas have over 220k miles on them and have never had an antifreeze flush because I always use Genuine Toyota antifreeze. They only lose a small amount of weight over time, which isn't enough to be concerned about. In ten years, between two cars, I've only used one gallon. When I need another gallon in 10 years, hopefully the drone will be able to deliver it right to my car!.
A trip to the Toyota dealer was avoided by purchasing here. Because it is pre-mixed, all you have to do is pour it into your radiator or recovery tank and forget about the water. I wanted to stick with the pink coolant that came with the car. Simply added to the recovery tank, and the level has returned to nearly full, as it should be. As stated in the owner's manual, this has a very long life. Although, if you buy Prestone full strength, you can get it for less than half the price of one of these at a big box retailer. Then you add some more water or distilled water, and you've got even more. Green. OEM items are always more expensive, as is to be expected. This pink purchase does not require any water and is ready to use. If you want to stick with OEM and have a low mileage, well-kept car, this is a great product.
It's pricey, but it's a good investment. Even so, it's still less expensive than going to a dealer.
It was ideal for topping off my truck's coolant.
