Two 500 mL cans are required. It comes highly recommended!

What is the maximum amount of gallons that can be treated?

1 oz per gallon is a good rule of thumb. I use 16. The ratio of a 9oz can to a 13 gallon tank is 9:1. Every filter service, I use a 5 gallon container.

This was used on a 1983 300SD turbodiesel that hadn't been started in over a decade. I used the Diesel Purge straight into the fuel line after testing and calibrating the injectors, adjusting the valves, and testing the compression. At first, the engine shook and rattled, but as time went on, I could actually hear the engine smoothing out. After about 45 minutes of intermittently revving the engine up to 3000 rpm, it was as good as new, with no smoke. This is an incredible product.

Cleaning injectors has never been easier

My mercedes om603 engine had bad injector nailing when it was cold, and it was always very sooty unless it got a good highway run. It's very smooth and quiet now after using three cans fed into the fuel system through a gatoraid bottle and replacing the big filter; no more nailing or smokey starts. If you buy this, inject it directly into the fuel system rather than dumping it in the tank.
