This is a material that absorbs liquids and *holds on* to them. It's not a filter, and it's certainly not N95-rated. It's also not meant to be washed or dried, so it'll degrade with each wash and dry. We strongly advise against using this in the manner you describe.

To keep my floors clean, I do a variety of chores (including those in the grease family). Oil, as you may know, is difficult to remove from a concrete floor and necessitates the use of a poultice. DIRTY and used oil carries dirt and contaminants into the concrete, which is a secondary issue. The best way to avoid getting oil on the floor in the first place is to avoid it entirely. br>br>While these pads will not prevent a major spill of oil from leaking down to the concrete, they will absorb drips and minor spills well, especially if you double-up on them. Place two pads beneath your work area once you've gotten your work area set up. They are capable of wicking all types of petrochemicals, but thinner petroleum-based products (such as brake cleaner) will seep through the pad and onto the underlying concrete. (However, these chemicals rarely cause significant staining. ) ) Even if some dirty oil penetrates the pad (for example, if there's been a major spill), the pad will completely trap the *dirt*, allowing only the *oil* to pass through, making stain removal (with a poultice) much easier. br>br>Now, whenever I do any kind of work that involves automotive maintenance chemicals, I first lay down a couple of these pads, and my garage is much cleaner, and I have less clean-up time. a source of concern They bring joy to my life.
In comparison to other heavy-duty pads, these pads are quite thin. They're made of the same material as the previous ones, but they absorb less oil.
As a result of an unintentional spill, some oil ended up in my pool. It was a disgusting mess, and the pad, along with super shock and fall out, did an excellent job of cleaning it up.
Good value for money.
We spend a lot of time on our boat, and these are inexpensive enough that I can replace them on a regular basis. They soak up a lot of liquid. The perforations are appealing to me - As a result, I can easily only use half of it when needed.
This was a Father's Day gift for my husband, and he loved it. I'll most likely do it again for another occasion.
Rags of good quality. I'll buy it again because it's good value for money.
