Is it true that these are fireproof?

New Statistics on Pigs The Mat Pad (PM50043) is not a fire-resistant product. When the mat pad is not in use, it is flame resistant. There's also an anti-bacterial component to it. The mat has a static agent added to it, which reduces the surface's tendency to accumulate an electrostatic charge.
