I didn't realize they weren't the heavy-duty mats at first. I went with the heavy-duty mats. These 50 ct stacks of heavy weight take up about 40% the volume of the 50 ct stack of heavy weight next to each other.
I considered getting both of them, but for a few more dollars, I believe the heavy weight at 120% the volume is an unbeatably better deal. br>br>Buy Pig mats, but make sure to get the heavy-duty ones.
I'm a sloppy mechanic who always manages to spill whatever fluids I'm working with. The majority of them will dry out on their own, but oil will remain for a long time. I can use these pads to soak up only the oil and not everything else I spilled, such as my beer. If oil gets into your antifreeze, these hydrophobic pads will collect only the oil on the surface, allowing you to recycle your antifreeze normally. It's much lighter and doesn't smell like a ton of cat litter. Now I'm not dumping 20 pounds of litter into a puddle of water with a few drops of oil in it; instead, I'll clean the oil and move on, leaving the rest to dry on its own. When you use a parts washer with a water-based cleaner, these will float to the top and collect the oil, ensuring that your cleaner stays cleaner for longer.
We stuffed them into a large pool filter bag, but they could probably do it themselves. They don't degrade as quickly as some of the foam sponges we've previously used.
UTV. Always keep a supply of absorbent pads on hand in case of a spill or leak.
Oil is the only thing that this sponge absorbs. The emphasis is on the word "ONLY. " I had no idea that other spills, such as anifreeze, diesel, and so on, would be absorbed. Not the type of thing I wanted to put under my marine inboard diesel.
thin is a debate that has been raging for quite some time In the engine room, PIG is unquestionably the best. Get the thicker ones if you have the extra cash!.
Use them to soak up oil and diesel in the bilge of a boat. Work efficiently.
These diapers perform admirably and offer excellent value. New Pig is an excellent choice.
