Because the engine oil was dark, I added BG EPR before changing the oil, ran the engine for 30 minutes, and then drained the oil. After installing a new filter, filling the engine with oil, and adding BG MOA, the oil is crystal clear after four weeks. I am very happy with the outcome.
Cars that have a low mileage. This was a rerun of the previous episode. I had previously purchased BG EPA and had placed an order for it. br>br>Every other oil change (roughly every 10,000 miles), I run this through our cars along with BG's MOA. For our three older cars (all with between 135,000 and 220,000 miles), it appears to be a good preventative maintenance step. br>br>Product was of good quality. Quickly packaged and delivered. I'm going to buy it again next year.
The drained oil looked like melted chocolate after I used one can of this stuff on a 2008 vehicle. On a much newer car that had only ever used synthetic oil, I used a second can: I took oil samples before and after, and there was no discernible difference. br>br>When the time comes, I'll probably give the 2008 vehicle another dose of this.
This has worked well for me in the following situations. Not only does the engine run smoother, but it also gets better gas mileage. In every vehicle I own, I will use EPR at least once a year. br>br>2004 Toyota Land Cruiser with 229k milesbr>2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 268k milesbr>1994 Toyota 4runner with 214k milesbr>2003 Harley Dyna Low Rider with 39k milesbr>2004 Toyota Land Cruiser with 229k milesbr>2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 268k milesbr>1994 Toyota 4runner with 214k milesbr>1994 Toyota 4runner with 214k milesbr>2003.
Since I got my first car at the age of 16, I've been a BG customer for 20 years. They aren't cheap, and they are proud of their prices, but it is well worth it for your vehicle. Avoid problems by taking good care of your vehicle. The key is to keep it simple to maintain. You get exactly what you pay for in this case. My turbo kills my oil and makes a mess, but this revives the ecoboost, which I use every second or third oil change after applying royal purple. My explorer has nearly 200 miles on it and is still going strong.
Cold start smoking with 7 ecoboost. Around 70,000 miles, 7 ecoboosts began to smoke after cold starts. I took it to the dealer, who informed me that a costly valve job was required. After just one treatment, you will no longer be able to smoke. Since then, I've accumulated 6,000 miles. Make plans to complete one more treatment. This book comes highly recommended. In addition, the mpg has increased. 2 out of a possible 20 8 to 21.
I then drained the oil, which was dark in color and appeared to have been used for 5k miles. All of the oil and EPR have been drained. The last oil change was completed. My 5. prior to flushing A 7 HEMI with 150,000 miles on the clock would idle at 900 rpm and turn 35-degrees. 39psi. It now idles more smoothly at 700 rpm and 43-degrees Celsius after the flush. 47psi. Excellent outcomes!.
