Yes. Reduce the dosage by half. In most cases, the ratio of 1 can to 20 gallons is adequate. When I've used too much, I've had performance issues, though I don't believe it would harm anyone. On the other hand, I'm not sure if overdoing it will harm the o2 sensors or the cat converter.
I'm sorry, Chris, but I'm not familiar with any other fuel system cleaners. On the advice of my engine builder, I went with BG44. My racing engine was accumulating deposits on the valves and causing increased leakage. a decrease in percentage I ran the next race with 1/2 can of BG- because several cylinders were showing 6 to 8 % leak down. I ran the next race with 1/2 can of BG- because several cylinders were% 44 in 5 gallons of rave gas with a 110 octane rating. Those cylinders were all below 2% leak down after the race was completed. Also spotless were the intake manifold runners. I now repeat this process after 40 or so 1/4 mile runs and every cylinder is still between 2 and 3 % leak down.
Hi 44k is a powerful cleaner that cleans and conditions every part of the fuel system. There are filters included in this package.
Shell (V Nitro) and Exxon premium are two brands of gas that I frequently use. In addition to what's already in the gas from the pump, I buy Techron bottles. They're not particularly useful. I can feel the power in the engine return after putting BG44k in the tank (and driving for about one tank's worth of miles). When you floor it, the car pushes you even harder against the seat. BG44K is the only one who can do it.

I was able to save $3,000 as a result of your assistance. This stuff is incredible and has helped me save a ton of cash! I took my Audi S5 4 for a spin. When I took my 2L V8 with around 60k miles in to the dealer for a check engine light, they told me that I needed to replace the fuel injectors and that the total cost of parts would be around $1,500. The cost of labor would exceed $3,000. I had the carbon buildup that is common with these cars serviced about a year prior, as well as a major service and tune-up about 6 months prior, so those were not the issues. I didn't want to spend that much money on repairs, so I had the dealer reassemble the car so I could do some research. I discovered this product on Amazon, ordered some, poured some into an empty tank, filled it up, and drove away. It's been a long time since I've felt so good in a car The car was much more responsive, accelerated much more quickly, and simply ran much smoother. br>Prior to using this product, my car's engine would hiccup here and there when it was cold, and you could feel the misfires when going over 3000 RPM, but it would eventually run smoother as it warmed up. There were no hiccups after installing BG 44K, regardless of whether my engine was cold or warm. The vehicle performed better than when I first purchased it! This product is fantastic and I highly recommend it!.
5 STARS A RECOMMENDEDbr>I'm not a fan of fuel additives in general, but my 2013 F-150 has one. With the 5. , you can earn 150 Platinum. In traffic, 0 had a bothersome chudder. There was no problem, according to the dealer. It felt like the drive line was messed up, and this was only while maintaining a speed of 35 mph in traffic. I only have 21K miles on the truck, so the Ford service writer recommended BG44K. I had a rough idle as well, and my mileage had dropped to 14 MPG, so I told him to go ahead and add it if he thought it would help. I was dubious at best, comparing it to SNAKE OIL. GRRRR. br>To cut a long story short, after three days and about 55 miles, I noticed that the accelerator was twitchy touchy, and the idle was super smooth again, as well as the chudder. When I stomp on the throttle, she ROARS again, just like it did when I first got it. br>As I previously stated, I am not a big fan of mechanics in a can, but all things considered, I am surprised that my combined MPG has returned to 22, and this is despite my putting my fat foot into it at every opportunity. br> I installed it in my wife's 2004 Honda SI, which had begun to exhibit poor performance as well as low fuel efficiency (16 MPG). I put the BG44K in without telling her just to eliminate the placebo effect, and she filled up the tank and told me that her gas mileage had returned to 27, that it was smoother at stop lights, and that it roared again. br>It's effective. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED - br>IF YOU FOUND THIS HELPFUL, PLEASE VOTE thumbs up.
The B has always been one of my favorite letters in the English language. The 44K, in particular, is a G product. It is, without a doubt, the most user-friendly fuel system cleaner available. Over the years, I've conducted tests on vehicles that were destined for the scrap yard due to severe carbon buildup visible with a bore scope on the valves and pistons. I topped up the tank with 44K and let the engine idle for 8 hours before checking to see how much it cleaned the next day. WOW! It wasn't spotless, but I could see aluminum and there was a lot less crust on the valves. br>After using 44K and comparing it to other products, I strongly recommend it. It's a little pricey for a fuel additive, but when you consider the cost of the repairs it can prevent if used every 10,000 miles or so, it's well worth it. This was included in my 15k mile service when I worked at a dealership, and it works wonders for cleaning stuck injectors and carbon deposits that are common with low-grade fuels. opinion.
This is what I used on my Subaru 2. With 270k miles on it, it's a 5 SOHC. I had an emissions code and was due for an inspection. Catalytic Converter Efficiency is Below the Threshold in 0420. This went on for months, clearing once a week and then reappearing two days later, even after resetting the CEL and clearing it. I used a 10 gallon fill to add the product to an empty tank. I added half of the cleaner at two gallons and the rest at eight gallons to ensure that it mixed well with the fuel (I used Techron to get the chevron high grade fuel). Then I drove and slammed on the brakes a few times to mix things up even more. My RPMs were kept at a high level (3-4) throughout. 4K) to burn out any carbon, etc. , and then ran until the battery was completely depleted. There was still a light on in the room. The light hasn't come back after the CEL was reset a week ago. In addition, my vehicle passed the required inspection. I've also noticed a slight increase in mileage, which was 23 miles per gallon in the city before. Every time I fill up the tank, I check my mileage and can safely say that I am getting 1-mile per gallon. An increase of 2 mpg.
15 minutes prior to my oil change, I put this in my engine. Because it removed so much gunk from the engine, it ran rough for the next two tanks of gas before it was completely cleaned out. Yes, it is costly; however, I have a query. Why are engines built to be so sensitive to sugary gas (Ethanol produces sugar when burned) and why do we have to buy such low-quality fuel that causes this build-up? Why aren't these products already incorporated into our oil and gas? The product is excellent, but why do I need to purchase oil and gas additives in order for the product I'm purchasing to function properly?.
The best thing that has ever been invented for fuel injectors. I was on the verge of having to replace them in a car I used to own. I use a full tank of super in all of my cars twice a year. Maintain a neat and orderly environment that runs smoothly.
My vehicle is a 2012 Ford Explorer with 71,707 miles on the odometer when I used the BG 44K Fuel System Clearner. There was no loss of power or MPG, and I mostly drive on neighborhood streets, but I bought this cleaner as a preventive maintenance item and used it during my regular oil change. I used a different brand of Fuel System Cleaner 30,000 miles ago, according to my maintenance logs. When I used the BG 44K on the last quarter of a tank of gas, I immediately noticed a difference. I let the engine idle for a few minutes and noticed that the RPMs were higher than usual. I drove it all over town and all the way to the highway. I believe the throttle was more responsive as a result of this.
