I have a P0420 code that appears every now and then in a previously neglected BMW (due to the previous owner's use of cheap gas), and I swear this is the only thing that will make it go away. After several months of using two cans/tank fulls, the code came back on, but the check engine light remained off after another two cans/tankfuls. If you have a high mileage vehicle that requires premium fuel, I highly recommend using this product on a regular basis, perhaps every oil change. You could probably use it in a regular car as well, but I'm not sure if it would be as effective.

This company produces an excellent product. On my RV generator, the carb cleaner came in handy. I now use it to degum my motorcycles, which is something that alcohol additives in gas do.
