Questions & Answers

Is it something you use in your cooking oil?

Yes, this will remove the carbon sludge from your engine. Combine 1 can with your existing motor oil and rev the engine for 10 minutes, as directed on the can. Drain the old oil from your engine, replace the oil filter, and then fill it with fresh oil. This product is great, but you must follow the instructions on the can and not overrev, or your crank bearings will be destroyed.

If you value your car, BG products are well worth the investment
5/5

It's a waste of time and money to supply. My complete review can be found here. After using this flush for the first time, I've now used it in all five of the cars I look after. Over 100k or all around. Since I worked as a mechanic in the 1970s, I've been a fan of BG products. Now that I'm back with them, the 44k, MOA, and EPR are all performing admirably. Switching to "branded" Shell and Mobil premium gas is also a good idea. For the past three months, my overall mileage has increased by a tenth of a mile per gallon. Everything now idles and accelerates smoothly. I'm a thirty-year XOM refinery retiree who was duped by the knock-off mobil stations, but it was well worth the money. Pay attention to the branding on the pump. If it doesn't say Mobil or Shell detergent on the label, you're getting what's known as spot price gasoline, which has "NO" detergent additives. That is why it is less expensive. Don't be fooled like I was, because there is a difference. You save a few pennies per gallon, but a few years down the road, you have dirty injectors and who knows what else in your fuel system, causing a rough idle and acceleration. I was taken aback by how quiet the cars had become now that they were all idling. br>My beef is with Amazon and eBay's sole seller of BG products. . . . "Auto Body Now" is a phrase used in the auto industry. They are completely useless because they will not respond to emails, and guess what? You "can't" address them in any way. Imagine being able to call the person to whom you're sending your hard-earned money! And these aren't "cheap" products. And it's for a problem that's so easy to fix. I needed to contact the National BG company first, then local dealers. Finally, I was able to contact a dealer and speak with a service manager. They were all wonderful people. I'd like to commend the service manager with whom I spoke. I wish I'd taken a mental note of it. My problem is that different versions of cans are available for various can designs. Ol' "auto body now" didn't respond to my email. The simple answer is to turn the can over and look for the manufacturers date printed on the bottom. It confirmed my suspicions that the EPR was an older version. In March of 2021, this film was completed. So simple that "auto body now" couldn't be bothered to answer questions from customers. The EPR is also used in the following ways, according to the helpful manager: Place the full can in a warm engine and idle for thirty minutes at 1200 rpm before changing the oil and including MOA as part of the new oil. For the time being, we have two options: use Auto Body Now or purchase BG products from a dealer. I suppose I should be grateful, but finding such a simple answer was a hassle. Take a look at the bottom of the can. Simple, straightforward, and straightforward.

It's fantastic! I discovered that draining old oil, replacing it with new oil and filter, and then running the engine for up to 15 minutes yielded the best results
5/5

Because the engine activates when it reaches operating temperature, it must be at that temperature. After the timer has expired, drain the oil and replace the filter with new ones. I was astounded by its ability to clean the insides. This flush for the engine is fantastic. This flush is not recommended if your engine is clogged with sludge. It has the potential to cause issues such as clogs in oil ports and other similar issues.

Boost your mpg by a few percentage points
5/5

On my gen ii prius, I purchased EPR and MOA to reduce or eliminate oil consumption. Not only did my oil consumption drop dramatically, but I also gained about 4 miles per gallon when I went from 44 to 42. From 4 miles per gallon to 48 miles per gallon.

It's a great deal at a great price. Just go ahead and do it. Oil changes will be a breeze for years to come.

Cleans the insides of your body
5/5

Every time I change my oil, I use this. My truck has 175,000 miles on it, and after 8,000 miles between oil changes, the oil is still clear and clean. Strongly suggested.
