Questions & Answers

What is the weight of the can in ounces?

The picture depicts a quart, but the contents are 32 oz. in a quart of liquid

Is it possible to use it to ride a bike?

I'm guessing this is for SRAM brakes? It doesn't matter what type of machine a dot 3 is going into; it's still a dot 3. If you don't know what your bicycle brake fluid is made of, don't touch it.

Will a forklift be able to handle this? It requests sae j1703f specifications, dot 3 or dot 4?

Yes, it meets or exceeds all dot 3=4 specifications.br>However, since it is more expensive, why not stick with dot 3?

Selected User Reviews For Bosch ESI6-32N Brake Fluid (Direct Replacement for DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1) - 1 Quart

Everyone should upgrade to Bosch 5 if they haven't already
5/5

1 quart of brake fluid This is the fluid to use if you're a Motörhead' fan, and you'll understand why. br>br>It is also the fluid to use for everyone else. It is intended to take the place of DOT 3. 4 is the bare minimum for all automobiles. This brake fluid outperforms both DOT 3 and DOT 4 brake fluids. 4 for two reasons: significantly lower viscosity (improves lubrication and performance of the expensive ABS system) and greatly increases the boiling point of the brake fluid; if your brakes start to fade, it's because the brake fluid is boiling (liquid to vapor). Liquid is difficult to compress, making it difficult to keep the brakes in working order. Vapor, on the other hand, is easily compressed, causing brakes to fade or feel spongy. When your brakes are fading or squishy, it's difficult to stop. Upgrade to DOT 5 as soon as possible. 1 fluid. This Bosch product is reasonably priced and comes from a well-known manufacturer. It's impossible to make a mistake with this.

This is the best brake fluid on the market right now
5/5

Bosh dot 5 is being used. Using a soda bottle and 1/4 clear tube, I was able to flush the brake system on my 2017 Honda Accord EX. It effectively removes contaminated brake fluid. With the new fluid, the brake pedal responds quickly. This book comes highly recommended.

This is an excellent all-around game
5/5

in the vicinity of brake fluid While this isn't racing brake fluid, I appreciate the fact that I can extend the time between fluid replacements. While the cost may appear high at first, the longer life of this fluid means fewer fluid changes and, as a result, a lower overall cost over time when compared to other fluids. In addition, it has a lower viscosity and a higher boiling point than DOT 5. 1 gives me peace of mind by ensuring that my brake system will perform at its best for a longer period of time and with increased safety. However, I did not notice any difference in brake feel after switching to this fluid, but that is minor and has no bearing on my assessment of how good this fluid is.

The boiling point is higher
5/5

Great break fluid replacement with a much higher boiling point than OEMbr>br>I'm using it in my build Integra GSR that I use to drive in the canyonsbr>br>I was getting break fade even after installing brembo rotors, hawk pads, and stainless steel break linesbr>br>Once I flushed out the brand new dot 3 that was in the car and replaced it with the Bosh I stopped having break fade and I could be.

****THIS IS GENUINE FLUID, AS PROVEN BY BOSCH AMERICA ENGINEER*** For the past six years, I've been using this fluid
5/5

The original product was packaged in a metal can with a painted-on label. Because the product is made in Germany, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and American labeling laws require that exported fluids like this have a paper label affixed with all specifications and the like, which was CONFIRMED by a BOSCH engineer on 4/29/21. br>br>Several reviews here refer to this fluid as "counterfeit," which is simply untrue. Pick up the phone and talk to the people who make this for 5 minutes, and you'll be assured that it's the same high-quality German 5. It's always been one DOT-approved long-life fluid. This is what I use in all of my Toyotas, and it works great.

Mercedes W211, Chevy Blazer, and Yamaha motorcycle brakes are all made with this material
5/5

The brake fluid has a low hygroscopicity but high boiling points, similar to that of a racing brake fluid. Unlike racing brake fluids, it does not require frequent replacement due to water absorption, and it actually absorbs less water than standard DOT 4 fluid. This reduces the likelihood of rust in lines and increases the lifespan of hydraulic brake components. br>It's an excellent substitute for DOT 4 fluid in German cars, as well as any other vehicle that requires the benefits listed.

I'm glad I purchased it and switched to it
5/5

The specifications appear to be excellent. When you have low viscosity, high boiling points, and are less hydroscopic, what more could you ask for? Because it's Bosch, I know it's been verified by a third-party lab. br>br>I just finished the first of two brake fluid changes on one of our cars, which was due for a flush after two years. Despite the fact that the car manual says to "check fluid," I chose to flush instead. I'm glad I did because there were a lot of contaminants and air bubbles that I could see. Do a flush every two years and upgrade to this fluid while you're at it. br>br>It was difficult to tell if the car stopped better with the OEM fluid because it wasn't that old. It seemed to me that it did, especially when I tested the ABS, but that could just be my perception. However, I can confidently state that things did not get any worse. It's pricey, but it saves me time because I won't have to replace it for another three years instead of two. The cost difference is offset by reducing the amount of time I spend doing maintenance over the life of the vehicle.

This brake fluid is by far the best on the market
5/5

I needed to flush the brake fluid in my 2009 Camry, and I was looking for the best fluid to buy. This Bosch fluid appeared to stand out after a lot of research. It appears to be superior to other fluids in almost every way: it's more durable, performs better in extreme temperatures, and, best of all, it fits any vehicle with Dot 3, 4, or 5 recommendations. 1 fluid. I had been anticipating a good brake performance test, which occurred on the 101 freeway the other day. The car in front of me suddenly slammed on its brakes (I guess the driver wasn't paying attention to their front), causing me to slam on my brakes as well. My Camry accelerated quickly, and I heard a faint squeal. It was a very smooth deceleration with no issues; ABS must have been engaged because the car would have slipped otherwise. I know the ABS on these Camrys works well because I had to brake with my old worn out tires on a rainy day a few years ago and could feel the brake pedal vibrate (apply/release). The vibrations were much faster than they were in my older 1994 Camry, implying that ABS technology has progressed since then. I would strongly advise anyone in need of Dot 3, 4, or 5 brake fluid to use this. 1 fluid.
