Protects brass, cast iron, steel, solder, and copper components from corrosion for an extended period of time. Aluminum components are also better protected at high temperatures.

The backwards compatible formula can be used with traditional cooling systems and can be used to service all 1994-95 GM vehicles, with the exception of 4-cylinder Cavaliers/Sunfires. When used in a vehicle that was not designed to use Dex-Cool, it must be replaced every 2 years or 30,000 miles.

REMOVE THE WATER. It's a 50/50 chance that you'll be successful. mix, which is a concentrate that has already been diluted with water. It's deionized water that's used. It can be poured directly into the cooling system from the jug. This is the (only) correct GM part number for hybrid vehicles, and it can also be used in other hybrid or electric vehicle cooling systems.

The Dexcool is said to be mixed with "specially filtered water" in the product description. "Is this deionized water?" says the narrator. ?

It's a 50/50 mix in this recipe. You might have 50% to add water to the mix in some cases you might have 50% to add 50% water% When this is the case, distilled water should be used instead of tap water. Minerals in tap water corrode internal components and may cause them to fail.

It's ideal for my GM vehicle

I decided to use this ACDelco Dexcool 50/50 premix for a coolant flush on my 2014 Buick LaCrosse. It's what my GM vehicle requires, and what better to get for it than an ACDelco branded product? Some people dislike Dexcool, but I've never had any problems with it in any of my GM vehicles, and I've owned quite a few. It's fine if you replace it every few years; in any case, it's been a few months/thousands of miles since I did the coolant flush, and I've had no problems with it so far.

This is an outstanding offer. It is slightly more expensive than purchasing it from a dealer or locally, but not significantly so. My Chevy Cruze's water pump was replaced with the entire gallon. It arrived quickly, double-bagged, and in good condition.
