Motorcycles are put through their paces
5/5

Sadly, this is true. I bought these because they were so cheap, and I needed them to finish the Motorcycle Course. I rode them for a long time and eventually had to take them off. br>br>When making a sweeping left turn, I lost control. These have protected my palm and fingers. The left glove ripped open, but it absorbed enough to save my hand, the right glove held up well, and the plastic part slid and did its job as well. br>br>They have a cheap feel to them, and they aren't particularly "comfortable," but they keep my hands from getting hurt. That's a bargain at under $20.

Order one size up, and you'll be fine
4/5

I ordered this in MEDIUM for EUC riding, but the fingers and palm were too short; I didn't realize it at the time, but it just felt awkward. I ordered them again in LARGE, and they fit much better! br>br>I chose these over other gloves because they have palm padding, come in a color scheme that matches some of my gear, and are reasonably priced. It's also getting cooler, and when I ride without my wrist guards on, my hands get cold. I fell twice while riding my electric unicycle, and both times I scratched the palm area of my wrist guards. Palm padding is present in the same location on these gloves (as shown in the photo). br>br>These gloves are a lot more comfortable to wear than wrist guards, so I'll probably wear them. I've skipped wearing wrist guards on rides in the past because I didn't like how they made me feel. I'm no longer making excuses, and I'll be wearing palm protection whenever I ride. Yes, I'm giving up wrist protection by switching to gloves, but in both falls, I didn't fall with my hands under me; they were more outstretched, so I only got palm scrapes. My wrist guards also fit over my gloves when I go for long or fast rides.

I bought these for mountain biking and they provide plenty of protection but not much comfort
3/5

I wore them for the first time last night, and I'll have to make some adjustments before I put them on again. GOOD: br>br> (1) The touch screen functionality was excellent - With the gloves on, I had no trouble using my phone. (2) My hands went through a few bushes, and at least once, my right hand hit a decent-sized branch; There isn't any harm, and there isn't any discomfort. br>br>THINGS THAT ARE NOT SO GOOD: (1) About 30 minutes into the ride, the hard plastic on the outer heel of the palm became a sore spot, and by the end of the first hour of the 2. I wished I'd brought my other gloves along for the 5-hour ride. It appears to be sewn on, so it will be removed. (2) The knuckle protection on my largest knuckle was not anatomically perfect, and I was getting some decent pressure there. By the end of the ride, I was wishing I'd brought my other gloves, so I'm going to try heating that part to see if I can get it to conform a little more to the curve of my knuckles when curved around a handlebar.

Durable
4/5

These gloves are what I use to ride my Ninja 650. They are extremely comfortable and weather resistant. I like how my knuckles have an extra layer of defense. They keep your hands warm, and the touch tone feature is ideal for when I need to use my phone while I'm stopped. I would recommend this product because the sizing is very accurate in terms of width. The glove length is a little too long for me. The color was a perfect match for my bike and what was shown in the advertisement.

Although it appears to be of good quality, the construction is of poor quality
3/5

When I first started riding, I bought these to test out on my motorcycle. They're comfortable to wear, stylish to look at, and functional with my phone. The stitching, on the other hand, began to come undone after only a few rides. br>br>If the stitching comes undone easily from normal use, these will not protect your hands from anything if you find yourself in a situation where you need hand protection while riding. I went to Cycle Gear and bought a brand name pair of riding gloves the moment I noticed these were falling apart. br>br>Do yourself a favor and spend the $80-dollars on yourself. $150 for a good pair of riding gloves from a reputable brand. When they save your hands, you will not be sorry.

Not bad, but a little pricey for what you get
3/5

These gloves are lightweight, cool, and comfortable. The tops of their knuckles and fingers are armored. Touch screen finger tips are convenient, but they aren't as effective as gloves with no fingers. I've discovered that completing touch screen activities requires multiple attempts, but it's still faster than stopping, removing your glove, completing the task, and then replacing your glove. In terms of quality, you can get a good pair of deer skin gloves for less at your local farm and ranch store, which will be more durable but will lack the touch screen capability and cool armor. I've previously priced similar gloves at a lower price, but that was during a period when supply and availability outstripped demand; inflation is not this product's friend.

It's not at all pleasant
3/5

I wouldn't recommend it to anyone because it's extremely uncomfortable around the knuckles when trying to hold the bike handle. The touch screen dot functions, but only to a limited extent. The part about being warm isn't entirely accurate. As soon as you begin riding, you will notice a breeze. Don't throw your money away.
