Although I am not totally certain about this, I would feel that this would play a major role. After some gentle cutting, it may be possible to reinstall so that it looks like an OEM part. This will fit a recon 10000 winch, will it not?

That should be the case. Holes for bolting the plate to the winch are of "standard" pattern. On one, I have an Smittybilt winch rated at 10,000 pounds, and on another, a Badlands winch rated at 12,000. There is a standard bolt pattern on the Recon winch, I'm fairly certain.

What size of 2919 will fit this. Can I drive a Nissan frontier with four-wheel drive?

It is robust and has a standard bolt pattern that will fit the majority of In contrast to some other cradles, this one is completely welded from end to end and not just in spots. There is a design in which the handles can be folded, but this would require loosening eight bolts, four of which have to be removed from the bottom and inserted in another As soon as the winch is installed, the handle bolts and winch do not have much room. A hawse fairlead attached to the cradle with no modifications to my winch with synthetic rope and I am using an installation kit. It is no doubt that roller fairleads would function just fine with this cradle since I have them on other winches. The winch will be used for an X20 Smittybilt 12,000 pound pulley The cradle is supposed to support up to 13,000 pounds, but I doubt I will ever be able to reach even 12 K.

The full price I paid for it was 300 Though I was hoping it was compatible with ATV's, I really hoped that it would be a winch of this size An example of a winch. In that sense, I mean the pre-war era They were drilled with holes. If I could have used a lighter, ATV-style device, it would have been awesome Whenever an application calls for it, we have a winch-style winch on hand. This isn't a defect in the product however, I plan to buy it again once I receive my drill press and am able to make it compatible.

I have found this to be the best winch mounting plate for a receiver I have ever used. It is quite common for me to be asked to put winches onto trailer receivers. I run a small shop. This is an extremely heavy duty item, and I have ordered a number of them.

On a JK, I had to use the winch mounting plate because the bumper couldn't be mounted directly to a winch. The bumper plate had to be trimmed, and holes had to be drilled to fit There was no damage to the plate, and it looked well maintained. The next time I buy, I will.
