As a Vines program reviewer, I examined these documents As part of an honest review, they were provided to me for free. The review does not depend on Amazon (or the manufacturer) in any way. The straps were used and they were very good light duty ratchet straps. I stand by my recommendation.
It is about 1 inch long.
It is easier to show this than to describe it A quick Google search with the phrase "how to use a ratchet strap" will yield several excellent (and short) instruction This should give you an idea of what you need. Raket straps are pretty much all the same.

Neither of the straps kept loosening up, so I purchased these as they have a clip on the hooks to keep them connected. There is a tendency for clips to bend or pop off the hooks, as well as straps that fray after rubbing a smooth, The strap I used twice before I tossed it in the trash. Spend a little more money and get a stronger strap.
Although I made some mistakes, they appear to work well. Check out a You Tube video in case you are having trouble The internet is full of it It has just one.
In my experience, only one collapsed during my use of the two. The ugly thing still serves a purpose, but it is unattractive.
The following is a brief summary of the phenomenon Here are some pros This is a sentence fragment from the original " Totally 4 Ratchet Sets (4 metal ratchet buckles, 4 heavy duty hook straps, 4 soft loop straps, 4 velcro straps. The bag is something to carry around)
" We provide Multipurpose Medium Duty Trailers (secure ATV's, kayaks, paddleboards, luggage racks, multipurpose trailers, etc. )
A ratchet that is easy to use - During heavy duty use, the coating is thick and coated These hooks are equipped with a locking clip so they will not fall off
The options for colors are bright (I chose orange)*Cons This is a sentence fragment from the original " My van contains a ratchet set like this one. I ordered it because I don't have one. The number of times I've been shopping and needed to strap something to the roof of my van is too numerous to count and I've never been able to find the tie down straps or bought a set to secure my purchase. So I keep a set in the trunk of my van at all times. Almost everything you may need is included in these ratchet straps. There have been times when I had no place to secure a hook with this set, so I like the inclusion of the soft loop straps. You can use this to secure the hook in the loop and wrap the loop around the hook. In addition to this, the car is also protected from damage. It's great that this set comes with a carrying bag that can be folded up and kept clean as well as a velcro strap to wrap each set up and keep it For anyone who drives a car, I think this set would make a great gift. You can use them when you need them. There is no doubt in my mind that I would recommend this item to others, and the price seems to be fair.
This review is for The ratchet straps include a tie down set, with 1,823 break strength, four cargo straps with padded handles, and a carry case. The Good
***Coated Full Bent Closed S Hooks AND 4 Soft Loops, Orange**** The Bad I'm sure you know this! The packaging includes four sets of straps that can be used for several purposes, including strapping down cargo in a truck bed or trailer, securing debris, or otherwise securing whatever you have loaded. I'm sure you know this! It is easy to recognize these straps because of their bright colors*- *The ratchets have rubberized coatings on the handles that provide a comfortable grip for users. Upon receiving this utility trailer, I hooked the straps over the rails and it made it easy to attach one end around something (for instance)--br>- Additionally, there is a handle bag for carrying the pieces when traveling, and velcro straps for securing the pieces together. Quite long straps
There are a few downsides I'm sure you know this! There might be a little thinness in the straps for some applications*- I haven't used them much yet, so no other issues, but I have yet to use them extensively. As soon as I find anything to change my opinion, I will update. In summary, I am extremely pleased with the strap set and will be keeping them in my truck for whatever lies ahead. As a result of these long straps with ratchets, I will be able to move a lot more easily in the near future. I'm starting a home demo project with my wife, and I expect to use them extensively. These should continue to perform well and hold up with medium-term use If I use it on a duty basis, I may consider updating my review.
Volunteering on an historical railroad is a passion of mine. As a frequent hauler of building supplies, as well as pulling trailers with lumber or crossties, I definitely need to have a pickup truck. When moving around things, these ratchet straps come in very handy. The first bump or turn will unlock your load if you don't have it strapped down, no matter how nicely you pack it. Steel ratchets are easy to use and are coated with a protective coating Using this equipment, a load of lumber or crossties can be secured so tightly that it is not liable to move. Having orange on the page makes it easier to see, which reduces confusion. In the case of the S On the other end of the straps, there is a clip that closes the hooks so that you can ratchet down the straps without them accidentally coming unhooked. (I've experienced this with other types of straps numerous times. 1,800 lbs. , but I would never load anything that heavy. When I carry 2,000 pounds, I would use all four straps to give myself a bit of extra safety in case I make a mistake. My guess is that each strap can hold about 600 to 700 pounds of force. I like that there is a carrying case, as I can stow them behind my seat and store them away.
I love them. main feature of this strap set that sets it apart from all my other straps is the four shorter loop straps that come with it. Having a hook on both ends of the buckle opens up many more possibilities for attaching to various objects than just the hook However, I have used this type to haul real machine tools weighing thousands of pounds that are relatively light in weight compared to the heavy duty straps used by military or professional truckers. It is my philosophy to use many small straps instead of a few heavy ones, partly due to the fact that my old pickup truck has no strong enough attachment points to justify massive straps. When a strap weighs 10,000 pounds, what is the point of attaching it to a hook that weighs 1000 pounds? Despite my lighter strap, I still attach the load to my sturdy trailer hitch with a heavier strap which I use to hook it back over the tailgate. If I were in a brain-dead situation, I would be able to- A 2000 pound milling machine is the thing I have the least chance of coming through the back window of my cab if a collision occurs.
