Thank you very much for your query. With enough webbing tensioned through the ratchet spindle, the shortest you could comfortably use these tie downs would be 27 1/2 inches. Regards from the Aerofast team in New Zealand, I hope this information is useful.

Look no further if you're in the market for the best motorcycle tie downs money can buy. br>br>These straps are equipped with all of the necessary features to make them simple and enjoyable to use. The strap material is thick, the ratchets are smooth, and the carabiner hook is in perfect working order. They simply work, and while that may be a low bar to set, I've used a lot of straps in my time and these stand out. br>br>The first time I used it was up to Evans Creek ORV in Washington. The road up there has a lot of potholes, and the truck was bouncing around a lot, but the Aerostar straps kept the truck in place. Without any additional hold downs, I would rely solely on the pair of straps. Bonus points: br>br>Bonus points: br>br>Bonus points: br>br>B This is not a Chinese product! It's made in New Zealand and is well worth the money. Once you've purchased something, you'll be able to cry every time you use it.
I used regular ratchet straps to haul my 2020 Harley-Davidson before I discovered the Aerofast Motorcycle Ratchet Straps. A MAJOR MISTAKE! During transportation, one of the regular straps slipped a tooth and came loose, and the hook lost tension, leaving it hanging. I was on the verge of losing my bike because I was trying to save a few dollars. The Aerofast Motorcycle Ratchet Straps have a hook that can be used or the strap can be looped around the hook. I'm going to buy another set for the back end of the bike because the other end has a carabiner that can be used securely without the worry of it slipping away or losing tension.
We must travel in groups of two. Picking it up from the dealership took three hours. I'm going to rent a U-Haul for a month. I needed "new" tie downs that I could rely on without question, so I hired a motorcycle trailer to help. Over the years, I've accumulated a collection of "Ancra" brand straps that I've used for motorcycles, canoes, and kayaks (some of which have clocked in at over 40 years of service!). A couple of them are starting to show their age. At this point, they aren't obligated to me in any way. If asked. That is a brand I would strongly suggest to anyone. NEW ZEALAND STRAPS, ON THE OTHER HAND, ARE UNGODLY! They don't look like any other ratchet straps I've ever seen! These things are steroid-addicted to the max! The fit and finish, as well as the quality, are completely out of this world! I always do a lot of research before purchasing items that will most likely be with me for a long time, and I have no doubt that these will be passed down to my Great Grandchildren! They're that great! Now is the time to put an end to your investigation. You've come to the RIGHT PLACE! You can buy with confidence.
These straps went above and beyond my expectations. I've shown them to everyone I've had the opportunity to show them to. I never expected to boast about a strap.
These straps provide you with peace of mind as you travel down the road. Webbing is thick, and the rotational hook is excellent. Last year, we rode from Chicago to Tampa on an Electra glide classic and a sportster, and a couple of straps snapped. At the very least, it makes for an uncomfortable journey. This year, I wanted a more comfortable ride; the cost is well worth it; set them and forget them. The bikes weren't going anywhere when paired with a front wheel chock on the trailer. They also come with these cute little carry bags that can hold two straps each.
The best motorcycle tie down strap I've ever come across. When I haul my motorcycle around, these are ideal for securing it to my trailer.
Nice thick straps with high-quality ratchets and well-constructed straps. They even came with instructions on how to use them, which I found amusing.
I only purchased two straps when I should have purchased four! The quality and ease of use far outweigh those of local straps. I strongly advise you to do so.
