The balance between 180 and 190 is mine There is plenty of room for 190 sport bike tires. It is a very well built unit so there is no issue with the weight. It is quite happy with its performance.
Since the spindle centerline is about 15" above the base, the outside diameter of the tire should be fine if it is less than about 30".

While I spent a few more dollars than I thought I needed to, this piece is of high The change to my KLR wheels (balance) was my first ever wheel balancing experience, and the tool made the process feel much more responsible and specific. As I've changed tires in the past, I have never balanced them, but with this simple tool that I will have for as long as I ride, balancing will be the best part of tire changes and I will have a lot more confidence now that I know how to do it. This is a valuable tool to have in your garage for anyone who rides or works on their bike frequently. It would be great if you could lend it out to your friends as well.
It is very easy to balance tires and wheels with it. I really like the way it's built and it's With a bubble level built into the base and adjustable feet, there is no question the stand will be level in Supports for the shafts are ball bearings, as are cone wedges to center everything. The first time I got it, I removed both of the wheels from my motorcycle on this stand. Prior to being balanced, the wheels had been serviced at a motorcycle dealer. They had no idea what they were doing. The owners did not take the time to make sure they were perfect, let alone close to being perfect. With OCD balance at my fingertips, I can groove to my fullest whenever I like. I love it! One of the great features of this stand is that it is equipped with a true pointer. Definitely recommended!.
This is a solid piece. There is no burr in the shaft, and the bearings roll true and smoothly. The ABEC-7 unit meets these requirements. It is necessary to have free bearings in order to use this method to really balance a motorcycle wheel or tire. There is this tiny wheel that spins for eternity when you spin it very slightly. As the owner of two Heritage Springer Harleys with my wife, I will never put them to the test over town at our local shop again after balancing our new tires and wheels with this unit. You must be patient to get them perfect, but it is worth the effort! As opposed to using the rod provided, I decided to use my axels since I felt they would spin more realistically. Very good! Thanks a lot!.
I have reviewed the Tusk rolling and balancing stand for motorcycle wheels. Overall, I'm quite pleased. The cones for singles do not exist Despite the lopsided swingarms, I'm okay with it Those parts seem to be fairly universal. The bubble level had an easy to use interface, and it was simple to assemble. On my Indian Scout of 2016, I used the balancer to balance the wheels I found everything to be repeatable, so getting the wheels balanced within about 5g wasn't difficult. The old glue on the weighs had to be cleaned and removed before they could be balanced. In general, if you're determined to change your own tires, you'll find that this works well.
When we got this truck into the shop, we changed out three tires. I had no problem putting it together. I find it to be strong and sturdy. The tires mounted on it were very capable of taking both my 15" and 19" motorcycle tires. did not use the "truing" part of this stand, so I am not sure what that is like to use. Tires are balancing well, but it's not the best at that. In the first two days I used it, it had already paid for itself. Despite only taking a couple of minutes for the two other tires, I managed to balance the first tire in less than four minutes. Having never balanced tires before, I find it difficult to do. Here's what you need to know if you are a first time user. Weights should be added in long rows beginning with the heaviest weight and gradually reducing to the smallest weight needed. My first time I put them on, I had way too many weights on the rim, so I switched to the lightweight ones. I later realized I was using the light weights first. Very easy and a great tool for DIY motorcycle mechanics (or women).
The main reason I got this was to balance. The true part of it will likely never interest me, so I can't comment on how well it works. In spite of that, it served as a great So far, I've fitted the ends of the bearings to all my wheels. Assembly instructions were not included, but it was easy to figure out how to put it After about five minutes of assembly, we adjusted the legs to make it level and tested it out on the rear wheel of a Super Duke. According to the plan, it worked. will be worth its weight in tires after a few rounds of use, so I am satisfied with it.
