Questions & Answers

Is it safe to use this stand because it has a locking mechanism?

The overcenter lock is a feature of it

Is this safe to use on the Suzuki Supermoto? When both tires are off the ground, will they be in the air?

On 17 inch rims, both tires will be maybe one inch above the ground. It would be ideal if you could get a front stand and a rear stand to allow you to work on your bike

A straight line across the base of the legs should be about what width?

A 16 1/4-inch gap between the base legs and the floor is standard. There are no wobbles in these racks, which are stiff enough to hold 450cc bikes. I have owned several stands, but this stands out as the best.

What is the size of the top plate?

The size of this image is 10" x 10"

A quality lift for the KLX250 (304 pounds)
5/5

It provides exactly what I need. Bought this to replace an old Kawasaki KLX250. It's quite simple to lift the bike, and it's pretty much effortless to lower it. If the stand height is set correctly, letting it go is pretty much automatic Since the tires are only about an inch away from the ground, the event is relatively short. Using the suspension will allow you to gently soak in the rest catching the bike before it begins to lean will be straightforward. I suppose the only thing close to a negative worth mentioning is that it's best to engage the pedal with the left foot when lowering the bike. You'll get smacked on the left shin if you use your right foot.

There is no better motorcycle stand than this one
5/5

It's a great stand for my MX bikes. I have 3 of them. I have never used a stand better than this one. It is adjustable (4 to 5 height settings), so it fits under the frame of many different types of bicycles. I have been using them for about 10 years now and still find them to be very effective). A simple press of the pedal allows you to raise the stand The KTM 450 or the CR450 are neither difficult to lift nor heavy. Despite being set at its highest point, the stand does not wobble at all. All 3 of my stands have flat rubber bases so that frame does not slide off. (All 3 of my bases still have their rubber intact and have not been torn). The high gloss color looks excellent and is available in many colors. My understanding is that this stand is rarely seen in the pits at MX tracks, so I am not sure why this happens. Those buffoons struggle to lift their bikes off of/on to conventional no-lift stands and I just laugh at them.

I love the product and the quality is great
5/5

The stand works well and easily lifts my WR250R, which is heavier than most racing dirt bikes. I dug further and found this stand for $40. It's very well built and easily lifts my dirt bike. My only complaint is that the bike doesn't raise very high from the ground on the stand. It may be necessary to move the stand closer to the rear of my skid plate if I want to raise the rear wheel so that I can easily spin the wheel to oil the chain, or move the stand closer to the front if I wish to raise the front wheel. A lifter would make it easier to raise the bike.

I've tried them all, but this is the best
4/5

It's nice to have equipment like this. All parts are included in the kit. To adjust the height of your bike, you simply need to remove and reinstall two bolts at the desired location. With ease, I was able to lift my CRF250L Rally to remove the front wheel and take care of the chain. It's correct for everyone It is less than desirable that the lift height is so low. As a result, I didn't lift my wheels off the ground. This is primarily a function of the long preload on most dirt/dual-sport suspensions. It is possible to ride a sports bike. However, if the lift could be extended five inches, it wouldn't take in water as easily, and it would.

This is a very well built bike but would work better on a smaller bike
4/5

As a construction expert, I am impressed with how well this stand is built. It's even more solid and stable than I expected, so it gets an extra star for impressive quality. Nevertheless, there are a couple of downsides. One problem is that there is no safety device to keep the lift engaged, and the other is that the stand seems to be best suited to Having said that, I do have a tall bike (KTM 450) and with the stand raised to the maximum height before engagement, I find that it is hard to engage. In order to lift the bike so that its wheels are about 1/4 inch above the ground, I have to make sure that the bike is perfectly centered after lifting it near the frame. All the lift is taken up by the suspension on the bike. We'd love it if the pivot arm of the lift had an adjustment so that it could give a little more throw if needed. In my case, I had the same experience. In general, yes, it works well. I am still satisfied with the product. I will recommend this lift to others, but be aware that bigger bikes will not be lifted very high with this.

Great stand - I love it It is a totally stable and hassle-free lifting system
5/5

It's hard to believe that's been so long since I used a stand where I had to lift my bikes on to it. I'm so glad I finally found As I have adjusted for stability, one wheel stays on the ground so it's comfortable to lift my bikes (a range of KTM dirt and street bikes). Lifting my bikes is just EFFORTLESS and the bikes stand up stable. My only major choice is to move the stand forward or backward beneath the engine case, depending on whether the front or rear wheel needs to be raised. It's great that this stand exists.

That's exactly what I was looking for
4/5

In addition to being sturdy, the stand works well. Only drawback is that you are required to raise and adjust your bike pad based on your bike upright's There was no easy way to do that because you needed to disconnect the bolts and adjust to your bike's height because all the bikes are different. As soon as the initial adjustment is made, everything works fine. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because of this.

It is finally possible to have a stable lift stand
5/5

It was two of them that I bought. It took me years to find a sturdy and stable lift stand and I was finally able to find I have two bicycles, so this is the second one I have purchased. It's hard to lift and lower the bike because of its weight, but it's easy to lift. There are wide traction areas on the platform. The lift stands I have had before were flimsy and unsteady in the standing position, but this one is solid and stable. It only has one small complaint the little plastic covers on the base tend to slide off when the stand is moved, but it doesn't affect the stand at all.
