Questions & Answers

What is the best way to mount this on an ATV?

A separate piece has to be purchased in order to mount it. An atv frame rail kit attaches to the underside of the rail. This is then connected to a bucket attachment or a snow plow attachment.

Do you need to buy the winch separately or does it come with one? In how many pounds can the bucket lift, and in how many pounds should the winch be purchased?

You will not find a winch on this truck. Can't wait to see this one! With the Warn mid-shaft on my Outlander XT, I can play with any terrain It consists of a mounting It is not recommended that you use this bucket kit with a mid-sized vehicle It consists of a mounting There is no way for it to be lifted to a useful height on it. I had to add a lot of weight to the back of my ATV to compensate for the weight of the bucket that is 60" in diameter. I would get a front mount kit and a smaller blade kit if I had to do it again. My opinion is that you should get a 60" front mount kit for a Side by Side. I have a 3500 pound Warn winch on my ATV, so I recommend getting the largest winch you can fit.

What is the fitment of this part on a 96 Honda 200 type 2 fourtrax?

In short, yes. If you want mounts for your vehicle, you need to get them from the manufacturer. The full list of mounts can be found on the "Warn" web site

This is incredibly difficult to break, and I really cannot comprehend how people keep doing it
5/5

This thing is so easy to break, I don't know how people do it. This device was mounted to a Honda Pioneer 700-based motorcycle My current bike is a 4 and it's a beast. I often abuse this bicycle, loading it up far beyond its rated capacity of 200 pounds. A friend of mine made some forks out of 2x4s for me, and I've hauled gravel, logs, dirt, dug into hillsides, and pushed fallen trees (big trees, like 40 feet in height) around with it. Despite everything I have thrown at it, this thing has held up well. ** Update** I accidentally sold it two years ago after abusing this for two years. I eventually bought a compact tractor with a FEL, so sold this one. As if this was not a must-have piece, I almost never take it off since I practically never wear it. Every weekend, it was getting at least a few hours of work. The only thing I used was a drag behind my SxS and this system to extend my gravel driveway by 100 feet. It was able to move and spread 20 tons of gravel in a few hours. When I sold it, it had dents and scratches indicating that it had been used rough, however it In the event that I ever needed this again, I would buy it again without hesitation.

There was no duty as Love it and was going to give it 5 stars, but I have to be honest
4/5

The material is thinner than we I can push the sides well, but the bottom isn't designed for much power, nor can I attach scarifier teeth to the front edge without risk of Despite the tight fit and alignment, the result was perfect. A bucket kit made up of several items was purchased, and this was one of those items On my Kawasaki 650 Brute Force, I have a V-twin engine. I was impressed with the quality of the ATV mount. When I tilt the bucket up, I can't get it to go fully up, so my load is less than half when I have the Push Tube mounted. Although it is solid, it would be better if it were two inches longer. I am very satisfied with the quality of the plow blade. As trying to thread my winch through the pulleys caused the cable to break, I use an electric hoist. Under load, the electric hoist is great, however when the bucket is lowered, the internal thread friction occurs, so it lets the bucket drop As a protective measure, I added a strap and hook to the bucket, so when it is full I will be able to maintain it in perfect position. Furthermore, I purchased a set of ATV front suspension locks elsewhere, as my rig sagged greatly under a load earlier, and my bucket barely stayed on the ground when the suspension was bottomed out. It helped a bit, but not much, to add a rear counterweight to the ATV.

ATVs are not to be used
3/5

The weight is too great. - All in attendance - Include the push assembly as well This would make a 700cc ATV too heavy to handle. Might be able to work You should put as much pressure as possible on the from strut with the Assuming that the manufacturer limit has been reached. Using the lift There is a weight limit of only 100 pounds on the front rack of a 2018 Yamaha 700cc. To attach the winch cable to the rack, you need to mount it high on the front. When it comes to bucket lifting, you are way overstepping this limit and voiding the ATV's guarantee. The bad news is that we have to cancel your plans. There's a lot of leverage (moment) on the frame, the front rack, and the front struts due to the overhang on the front. I estimate the total weight of the assembly at 150 pounds (without payload).

A design flaw in the Pulley Assembly led to parts failing within 30 minutes
3/5

Upon light use, the pulley assembly of this kit failed after approximately 30 minutes. The failure also caused the cable for the winch to be damaged. This might have contributed to the cable getting tangled in it as a result of the bracket that holds the pulley in place bending. In this case, the cable was damaged due to this action. My complaint to WARN led to them asking for graphics of the damage after I complained to them of the issue, and I requested a new part. My next step was to take photos, transfer the photos to my computer, and contact The WARN representative told me that replacement parts would be on their way by the end of the week after I called and left a voicemail. In order to achieve QA success, the pulley system needs to be corrected. The update was posted on August 24, 2013, and the WARN company Unfortunately, these parts failed as well. filled the bucket with only 1/4 load of plain dirt and observed that the same pulley brackets that failed before bent with the very first load of dirt. I am not able to ship this item back, which pretty much means it is ours to keep. On this page, I will post a few photos of this defective part. It is to demonstrate how you can determine if the part is defective. The following warning is in effect A cheap part in this item will bend or break the second it is used. In closing, let me say this You may not be able to use this kit on Polaris Sportsman 2012 and newer models. As per the instructions, you should hook the winch to the top of your front bumper, or the steel rack on your front. In spite of this, the Polaris Sportsman does not have any of these features. ATVs such as the Polaris Sportsman are the most popular in the United States. If WARN was going to warn Polaris owners about the dangers of installing this without a bumper, they should at least issue one. Therefore, this product gets 3 stars, and WARN gets 2.

My plow is a center mounted plow, so I do not have the chance to list the bucket as high as I would like, but it is still usable and I was able to do it
5/5

I got it to work! I found that you do have to be careful about overloading the 'bucket', I found that the The shovel load equivalents of 10 are a good compromise between tipping the ATV and not digging in when you bring it around for disposal. The ATV gained 120 pounds in weight after I added it The rear wheels of the bucket stayed on the ground while it was loaded greatly because of this. Despite my lack of experience, I was able to do the installation by myself in less than an hour with hand tools. As my plow is a center mounted plow, I am not able to lift the bucket as high as I would like, but it is usable and I was able to move 10 yards of fill dirt without too much difficulty. As a substitute for a tractor, it won't do much, but it can be used for small projects around the house.

Quite good for moving gravel, moved about 10 tons of Quite good for moving gravel, moved about 10 tons of The tilt bucket was modified a little and a second winch was added
5/5

The bucket can be pressed with hydraulic props and hydraulic pressure. In fact, it was left on during the winter for snow removal.
