The polaris 500 sportman 4x4 fit and worked great with a pull behind salt spreader I used with my 2015 polaris 500 sportman 4x4. Polaris Dealers can tell me if it fits a 400 sportsman, and I would ask them whether it could be used.

A heavy weight

The plow is located quite far in front of the Sportsman 570, which I thought was rather heavy for this vehicle. What makes it worse is that it is not made out of polyethylene. I am sure it will work just fine but I believe Artic Cat's system is superior to mine. Easy to put on, poly, and can be put on in less time.

Is doing what it is supposed to be doing

This thing has been a long time coming, but I finally had a chance Snow fell to the tune of 17" on our part. The snow on my long driveway is plowed. was easy to operate and had a perfect "roll" that allowed the snow to roll right off. It takes a bit of practice to set the spring tension and get the height and speed right for plowing, but I'm glad I had it otherwise I'd be stuck!.

This is a great system that is easy to install

In the box it arrived in, there was a lot of wear and tear. As for the plowing, it arrived at UPS Depot and I easily assembled it to other parts so I was ready to use it later this year for pushing gravel, dirt, and snow. I was very happy with how easy it was to attach to my Sportsman.
