What is the compatibility of this universal mount with the Polaris Sortsman 500 Quad 2007?

There is also a frame # 373987 needed for the 2007 sportsman quad sir you are just getting the blade

I don't think a kit is necessary. The only thing that changes is the blade. The frame for this blade was originally built specifically for another blade, and it was adapted to fit to Because of its light weight, I did not like it very much.

Steel or polymer is the material used for the blade?

If you prefer poly over steel, you can get a poly blade

The bucket and blade can be replaced with ease but the bucket has to be removed first.
