The FJR rack looks like it comes with a base plate that, with some work, you can mount it to. Spending an additional $175 is what I chose to do. You can spend $100.00 to get a Givi SR 357 rack that can carry a much heavier load and still not damage your bike. This box fits It is possible that I did not make use of the included base plate. With the addition of the SR 357 rack, I was able to use the baseplate supplied.
Yes, my friend
The 17-inch laptop I carry easily fits in my bag.
My 1982 Suzuki GS550LZ was equipped with a luggage rack built specifically for this hard case. No problems occurred to me at all. You should be able to use a luggage rack when it is compatible with the hardware kit. You can see the video I took of the case on my motorcycle in the attachment. Thank you! I hope you find it useful.

One of the biggest problems associated with owning a BMW motorcycle is the scarcity These are out there, but tend to be from Europe, and they usually include the BMW "soak tax. " Because BMW bikes lack the reliable electronics found in the CANBUS system and fewer BMW motorcycles exist compared with the big 3 bike manufacturers, BMW riders are left out of the loop when it comes to upgrade possibilities. Because I commute in my '16 BMW K1300s, and I have limited storage at my new job, I use my car for commuting. During the flight I was leaving my helmet at the security desk but wasn't comfortable with the situation. I had been left with two options a $250 mount (worth more than $80) and a $325 Givi with an additional Compared to a Givi passenger backrest which costs $67. 01 here is one that is already attached. While I paid more for the tail mount than the flimsy plastic plastic case others offered, I found real savings and value when I opted for the $115 AUTOINBOX 47L A distinct shape, excellent finish, and solid construct are the distinguishing features of this case. With only a few modifications, it attaches to my SW - it's fully waterproof and comes with a mounting plate Rack top made by Motech. With LED lighting, the case is equipped with an installed wiring and a secure lock. lighting on my bike is fine because the CANBUS system connects the 2 wires tail light system to add current so the LEDs will shine brighter, giving the AUTOINBOX lighting the function of a running light and brake light. In my case, the HJC RPHA 11 Pro Helmet fits perfectly on the left side while my folded jacket and pants fit perfectly on the right side. It might be a little difficult to lock the latch if there are any complaints. This latch is good because if the key is removed, it must be replaced with a new one I like the idea of locking the case, it gives me peace of mind. As a result, I have decent storage space on my sport touring motorcycle and can easily carry a backpack with my laptop from my home to work without having to carry a heavy bag.
As you could see in the pictures, it looked like the mounting points on the bike looked like those on the bracket, so I figured it would work if a few changes were made. And it did. To use it, you will need to turn the bracket upside down and measure two new holes you will need to drill. You can find detailed measurements and information in the attached photos. The next weekend, I will really finish the installation, which will give me time to do an update. In case you liked the style and picked 17), make it work! I found this to be a relatively well-made piece that didn't seem any different from the Givi box I have on my V-Strom. A Givi box costs the same as half as much, but is 30% bigger.
This box was purchased so I could mount a Ninja 250 in it. In addition to carrying my gear, I purchase it to throw in gear when I arrive in a different location. I have an XL full and this fits me nicely It also fits my jacket almost perfectly, since the helmet has gloves on it too. I might be able to fit everything if I had a smaller jacket. I can't imagine how it would fit two full-sized beds A face helmet, however, is not recommended, unless it is extremely Nobody I know has expressed an opinion about it, but it looks a little large for the bike. I found installation to be fairly straightforward. The mounting kit came with 4 bolts that would feed through your existing mounting rack, as well as horizontal brackets if you didn't If you buy a few extra washers, make sure the washers are on the top side of the bolts, not just on the bottom as directed in the instructions. The box is placed on top of the rack, and the bolts "click" There was no easy way for me to remove the lock, it seemed fairly sturdy. Roughness - In its own right, the event is not extraordinary. As a general rule, focusing on the integrity of the single weld that holds the box to the frame is important to me. There haven't been any problems with it so far, but it looks sketchy. While it hasn't failed, I'm a bit nervous about the fact that so many people have trouble with failures. There's not as much plastic as I would have liked, but it's good enough. In the event that someone wants to steal your box, however, it is not going to be resilient. In addition, there is a problem with the lock. The box has an odd latching system which keeps There's nothing better than a spring day It would have been better if a latch, or even a simple padlock held the thing close instead of a lock. The process of closing all the pages is just difficult enough to get In order to get the key into the "lock" position, you need to tap the mechanism with your finger. I'm afraid that if I try to force it, either the lock or the key will break. It's a nice touch to have the LEDs, as the box is pretty big, and your taillights might get obscured by the box. If you want to wire it up to your brake, it's fairly simple- With this set of lights, you can use them as running lights or brake lights, though I feel that the LEDs are bright enough to be used as The lights don't seem to have standard brightness/dimming controls, so if you want running light plus brake light, you'll have to get creative. Wiring them up was straightforward, they already came pre-wired. In the bottom, I drilled a small hole through which I ran the mounting rack into the bike, and ran it into the brake lamp They are LEDs, so they barely even draw power, so your normal brake lights shouldn't be affected. Among my future projects for this box will be finding a way to also enable a way to turn it on and off This is the functionality of the signal. By using Diodes, you would potentially have both brake light and turn signal functionality (obviously, the brake lights would override the turn signals when you stop, and that may not be 100% legal, but it isn't totally out of the question).
My 2015 Kawasaki Versys 1000 was able to mount this top case easily using only the existing rack, and the adapter plate only needed to be modified twice on the plate. I had to purchase shorter bolts from a hardware store to mount it as well. After I get a connector I will wire in brake lights, for the price point it's a great deal, I saved a lot versus the original Kawasaki or Givi cases. I will update the review once I test it.
The mount is made of metal, and the hardware included is good. do seem too long to me, but that will depend on how you install them. After picking up shorter bolts, I'll head back to the hardware store. This place has a lot of space! Neither the led lights nor the power supply are connected When I have done so, I will update you. All four corners of the box are padded with rubber and the mount locks into it firmly with no vibrations. We are extremely pleased with the results so far! In this case, the trunk does not have the typical round shape of a Chinese. My Honda Shadow looks very nice with it! It is only negative that the backrest pad is made of hard plastic. I will attempt to upgrade it To me, it's not that big of a deal.
For the money, it was a good deal. It comes with everything you need to mount it. This application was based on a Yamaha FJR1300 from 15 years ago. The mounting plate had to be drilled with a hole to get it to.
