Questions & Answers

What country did this come from?

Designed in China

Is it correct that you load it with a small stepstool or a bik stand? Is the ramp only wide enough for a bicycle, not a bicycle and a loader?

To load the bike onto your truck, you will need something to step on. My bike is on a standard bike stand, and my friend has a Ford F-150. 150, and he only uses the step built into the back of the truck. Once upon a time, I did use a chair:

My Chevy Silverado has a 6" lift kit and 35" tires on it. Will the standard length suffice, or will I require something longer?

Yes, this will work perfectly in my truck because it has a 6 inch lift and I don't have 35" tires.

Is there a box with this?

My ramp did come in a box, to be sure. This ramp is something I use on a regular basis and it works great.

They were used once before I decided to buy a trailer
5/5

I wouldn't buy them again and instead use a trailer, but they still get a 5 star rating because of the following: br>I own a 2019 Toyota Tundra TRD Pro with a very high ground clearance. My GSXR1000R is a 2017 model that sits very low to the ground. I used TWO of these ramps, one for walking and the other for rolling my bike up. I only used these ramps twice: once to walk into the bike in the bed of my truck by myself, and once to roll the bike down the ramps with assistance. Because it was nearly impossible to find a large enough slope in Florida for the bike's bottom to avoid hitting, I switched to a trailer. I drove the truck's front tires up onto Rhino ramps, and I had the truck's bed in a ditch to get it low to the ground. It was extremely dangerous to load it alone, and it took me a long time to line it up perfectly. Even so, I couldn't see the bike's back tire, and it nearly fell off the side of the ramp due to its narrowness. The ramps are always slick, and I had to put towels down on the one I was walking up because I slipped just walking up normally. Also, the single ratchet strap that comes with the ramp does a poor job of securing it to the bed on its own; I had to use three straps on each ramp to keep it from moving. br>br>I would recommend something bigger/wider to most people, but it gets 5 stars because I knew exactly what I was getting and it didn't intimidate me or seem dangerous in my situation until I did it.

The first incline; I bought this as my first ramp to load my SV650 track bike into the back of my pickup and wow, it's a wild ride
4/5

It's risky to do this on your own, and it's a flimsy device. I tried this ramp for the first time at 5 a. m. , as I was getting ready to go to the track. I tried the "step on the cooler" method by simply pushing my bike and dumped it, which didn't work out so well. I gave it another go-round- this time with the assistance of the throttle- I just sent it while jogging alongside, and it made it to the top, but it wasn't fun. I had someone assist me in loading it up at the track, which made things a lot easier- even when using the colder method I ended up buying a second, beefier ramp that's probably 4 inches wider, and that extra width really helps, especially if your bike isn't perfectly straight. I now use this ramp to walk up while pushing my bike up the more powerful ramp. Overall, it's not the best or strongest design, but it's the most affordable ramp I could find. br>br>Having said that, this ramp is excellent for dirt bikes. My CRF100 is very easy for me to push on my own. Even my YZ450 has no trouble getting up this ramp. If you're buying for something other than a dirt bike, this ramp may be difficult to use without assistance.

However, despite its light weight, it is extremely durable
5/5

This is what I used to load my Yamaha V- In the back of my truck, I have a Star Classic. The plastic tips have a good grip, so it won't fall off during loading. To transport or store, it folds in half. The hinge is in good working order and has no flaws or play. I was concerned that the weight of my bike, which weighs hundreds of pounds, would cause a folding ramp to collapse. It was excellent, and I would recommend it for dirtbikes as well as heavier motorcycles such as cruisers. If you have a Street glide or Road King, you'll probably need one that can hold more weight. Before you attempt it, make sure you know how much weight you have. The packaging was well-wrapped and not haphazard. This is an excellent product.

Smaller bikes will love it! I have a 110 pit bike, and this is a breeze to use with it, even without a step next to it
5/5

I can load it all by myself, which is difficult for me because I'm not particularly strong or tall. I'd recommend it for smaller bikes or people who know how to load larger ones.

great
5/5

Because of the steep slope, it's difficult to unload a motorcycle from a full-size pickup by yourself using this ramp. It isn't a problem if you have a hill or a wall. It's also not a bad idea if you have a friend to assist you. It's small and portable, and it's simple to set up and operate. I'm glad I paid a little more for this one because it's very sturdy. It's for a Suzuki DR650 that I use it on.

I bought this for my husband as a "just because" gift and it is a very nice ramp for the price
5/5

He's been riding dirt bikes for a long time and pushed it into the trailer with a notched out 2 x 4. br>I believe he was taken aback when he saw this. He now owns a 450 and races with it. br>It is extremely light and folds in half. He attached hooks to the inside wall of his trailer. br>For the price, this is a very nice ramp; we'll see how it holds up against the new 2016 CRF450R. That is, if it is ever released!.

Ideal for motorcycles, as it is extremely strong
5/5

This ramp has been in use for a long time. Has never failed me and is extremely durable. The fact that they include straps just goes to show how good they are.

Perfectly strong, pleasant to the touch, and well-designed. Do yourself a favor and get two or three so that handoffs at the top of the ramp aren't a pain and/or you can ride any dirtbike with room for your feet on the sides.
