I had just finished posting a negative review of this mount on the Rokform site and it didn't I ended up having to replace 3 of my iphones after I got damage from this mounting system. According to reports, the handlebar's vibration may be strong enough to damage the phone's internal components. I cannot get my phone repaired by Apple In exchange for your phone being held in place, your camera will be damaged. The lack of response from Rokform is even more disappointing.
You can vibrate your iPhone's camera to pieces in least time and for the least amount of money. Trusting a negative review is a good idea. Despite all the positive reviews, I thought that it must just be a few people who It should have made a huge difference, but rubber bushings didn't do a I also have excellent suspension on my bike, but yet I'm on my way to the iPhone repair shop.
This might be a good design, but I don't like the device I received. To use this on my motorcycle, I switched over to this phone mount system with the hope that it would be usable for awhile, only to have everything fail catastrophically within about two weeks. The mount I got for my motorcycle started falling apart soon after I got it, despite the fact that I keep it clean and dry. I realized that the extra magnet, which is supposed to hold it in place, fell out of the center. The iPhone was not lost because I noticed it and didn't lose it on the road. They told me they would send me another unit if I sent them pictures of the failed mount, but I have not received anything from them or even a reply from email after I proved the product fell apart. I hate to say it, but I cannot recommend their products and am looking for something else.
The packaging and product quality are good. As of yet, I have not installed and or used the product, but it appears that it does as it's In addition to lacking an installation manual, or any quick start instructions, one immediate concern is a lack of printed The process is a bit straight forward, but it would be good to know where we stand. The frames of my bike have one keyhole on the left side. There are 3 rubber adapters for 25" bars, but there are no rubber adapters for 0". It is 875" by 1". The numbers 00 and 1 have the same meanings. A 125" diameter. This obviously means that in the stock configuration the bracket will fit only one. Without a rubber adapter, can we use 25" bars? Those are good points but, as you mentioned, without some kind of Mylar protection tape which is not included, the chrome of my bike is likely to get scratched. Additionally, despite the polish being nicely done, the underside of the mounting mechanism is not polished and appears to be As long as a polishing wheel can get in there, I cannot justify the price of the item, especially when installed in the polish configuration where you have to take the salesman's word that it will be visible to the customer.
Despite this being a great phone holder, one of its teeth fell off. I was told that this was a very strong product when I ordered it, but I'm really upset about this mishap.
Taking it off is very easy with just a little twist. The only time it truly feels secure is when the mount magnet meets the case magnet, but you cannot mount it in very many places. There is only one True lock that Rokform sells, and it is the Universal 1" Ball Adapter Motorcycle Phone Mount. I wish that their other products did as well. This is especially true of the wireless The two I have are both in good condition. Because of the lack of a proper locking mechanism, I'm a little nervous about it when it's mounted on my bike, although I've yet to encounter a problem. Having called Rokform about this, I never heard back from them and cannot reach them by Although I am not giving this an outright 5-star rating, it is how things were for me.
This looks well made to me at first glance. There is only aluminum (code black) in this device. In comparison to other mounts I've purchased, the quality of this one is excellent. The handle bar mounts with three rubber grommets that fit handle bar sizes from 5. 5 to 8. 0. In contrast, there are no real approaches for handle bars with curves or odd angles. Canadiens faced a challenge in this sport I have a Ryker OEM handlebar, but there's not a lot of space on it. My search led me to just the right place. Having the arm pivot 360 degrees makes it easy to angle the phone so that wind resistance is reduced. It will take a few turns to rotate the phone into the case once the quad lock is loosening up. In addition to the phone case, I bought a bookbag for my computer. I'm not sure if the magnet on my arm is strong enough. I will do a second update on the motorcycle after a week.
There should be a cell phone case included as well. Apart from that, the bracket is solidly constructed.
