Can anyone tell me if this will work with VP jugs?

It comes out of 3/4" pipe. If you have a plug in the cap of your jug, its likely 3/4" since that's a common size. This is the spout I use and it works fine.

It worked great for the first 3 times, then busted after the 4th usage

As far as I can tell, the hose works well. that the fitting that screws into the gas lid isn't strong enough to carry any weight it must be made of plate steel. As a result, gas poured out onto the boat, dock, and yes, even into the lake. When just a bit of the rubber hose supported a bit of the can weight, it didn't take long for it to crack. After the malfunction, I tried to stop the leak as quickly as possible but still had a few ounces come out. Very pleased with the small cable that connects the lid to the frame.

The clamps are made of plastic

like the design and quality of the cap and the system for bending the hose, but I am not happy with the clamps. It only took a few minutes for both hose clamps to break. Home Depot provided me with two steel hose clamps to fix the problem.

I've been using the Spout for years and it's the best! The fill nozzle I have used for race cans has been the best I have found

The capless fill system on the newer Ford trucks works fine for motorcycles, snowmobiles, and the capless fill system on inline motorcycles.

It has been less than a month since the last break

It hasn't even been a month since I got this and the plastic piece is broken where it screws into the cap of the gas can where the o ring is causing it to leak. When it lasted, it was nice, but it didn't last very long.

The product works well, but I would recommend replacing the plastic hose clamp with a metal one if you don't want your gas to spill. Additionally, make sure to secure the screw on the cap with lock tite to prevent it from falling out.

It is expensive, but necessary with the risk of gas leaks

It ripped off the metal wire that was supposed to hold the tip at an angle when it was first used. Using some solder, it was fixed and now works perfectly. I took a RISK on this brand because it was expensive for the quality!.
