There is nothing like leather for a stylish, comfortable, and fashionable look. Once it was installed, it looked and felt great on my hands. The installation of the beads was a bit different than how I normally do it. My rest of this review is devoted to a solution I found to a problem I was experiencing. I will post a picture after a short ride but at highway speed to show what the problem was. My response was to trim back the fringe one inch at a time until the particular problem would not occur again when riding. Before they were able to settle down, I removed 3 inches. I am viewing this on a HD Ultra Limited screen. If you use a different model, your results may be different. As for my purchase, I am still pleased with it.
I have a Softail Deluxe and I was planning on adding Fringe but read a number of forum posts about how to install them properly. It took me about 20 minutes to get them snug with pliers after soaking them in water for 20 minutes. Since then, there has been no movement. My daily ride is about 500 miles. The quality is good, the leather is thick, and the cut is good. I did not notice any thin or crooked strands.
My first impression was that they were top notch. When I got them in my hands I was totally surprised! We're on top of it! Moreover, the strings aren't liable to break when you pull on them when lacing them up every payday I purchase another one for each of my bikes since I have two. Among the bikes are the 1997 heritage softail classic, 2006 street glide, 2013 electra glide ultra classic cvo, and.
Most of the time they look good to me, and I also have no issues with them tangling We found the best way to install these was to stick to the instructions, take your time and tighten as you work your way down the bike. It seems quite tight, even though I didn't wet it as some suggested. Thus far, I have not encountered a problem in this regard. As opposed to crimping, I attached the laces with small black rubber bands instead of sliding the "crimp clamp" up the laces. As I was going to give it 5 stars, my first thought was to actually give it a 4, but now I think it should be I was able to find 7 in my catalog, however, one thing concerns me the more I consider them. The laces need to be about 2 feet longer so that, in my case, they would be long enough to hang down to the same length as the fringe if you didn't want to cut them. Now that I have thought about it, I am wondering if I should look for longer laces in order to do the remove and re-lace You can install it, or you can just move on.
They arrived on time and are a pleasure to put on. If they loosen up I can just undo the clasp and pull all tighter, and I got leather grips from the same seller so the extra almost hangs down as low grips.
It's so cool to have tassels like these. These are rugged and stylish at the same time. You will be able to have them on both within 30 minutes if you follow the simple instructions here! It turned out that they arrived 3 days earlier than The product was great, the provider was great. I am happy beyond words.
quality and price of the leather are both excellent. As I mentioned, this is my third pair all in all. Two of the other pairs were thrown in the trash because they were a little too chintzy to transport on a bicycle. The packages arrived today, three days earlier than expected. They have not been added to my leavers yet, but I am confident my review will remain as it is! It's great having you here, Mike. Thanks for everything you do.
The leather on these is of high quality. Then slip the leaver on and tighten. Lace up like shoes, keep them loose until the leaver is on. As you tighten the next row, have a helper hold the X part of the lace tight so it stays in place while you tighten the next row. (If you need a guide, you can use a 1/2 ratchet handle. ) You will need to repeat these steps all the In the end, I just tied three knots and let the slack hang. On the left side of the tassel, you can see the 2 shorter pieces if you look closely.
