The vent cover looks great and it is an excellent price, but they ought to rethink how the top portion attaches to the base. The third one we have replaced (over the last several years) has occurred because every time I have gone up on the roof, I have found the bottom portion still attached to the roof, with the screws and posts of the top portion still attached, but the top portion just breaks off at It ended up that I had to buy some longer stainless steel screws and 4 large stainless steel washers that put the screw heads outside of the top rather than recessed inside of the plastic hole that kept In addition, through the washers, this design flaw is reinforced, and none of the screw heads are visible to the ground. With this change, water will no longer be able to accumulate in the recessed screw holes, deteriorating the plastic and screws within them and giving a larger surface area to hold the PCB.
"Complete kit" is described as being included in the description. It is only the bad and the cap that you should read in the details. As far as the base is concerned, it does not have screws. This cap does not come with screws to secure the base to the cap.
I got a solid replacement refrigerator vent for my Coachman Captiva, a lot of self leveling caulk, and old.
This one fits perfectly and I only needed the cover for the vent, so it was an easy exchange. Neither the screws nor the mounting bracket are included in this kit. With the exception of a trip to the hardware store for new mounting screws, everything went smoothly.
The original is just like that.
