They work well when used for the right application. I used them on tweeter's. A new layer of base blockers is needed, allowing mid range to pass.

A great product. I was able to rediscover some of my old self-confidence. There is no sound from speakers that had fried amps, but these speakers sound incredible. I spliced the 4" and 3" mid-length wires into the wiring of both of the 4" and 3" mid-lengths as it already had wires attached A wide range of Despite their small size, these speakers were called "woofers" as they were made for computers and bookshelfs. As a result, they are used as a mid-level resource A range of speakers accompanied by separate tweeters and subwoofers My first sound system included a woofer (and a fried amp, so was useless, until now. ) By modifying part of the system, I was able to create a very good sound system that would have been much more expensive if purchased new. There have been previous audiophile systems I have owned before, but this ranks among the best among Your help is greatly appreciated!.
The car only gets used 3 times a week and I hardly play the radio. Even though I secured them in the dash to prevent too much movement, they only lasted about 3 months before the wiring came out of the assembly and caused my speakers to cut As long as the speakers are not powered by bass blockers, I unplugged them. There is no way I would recommend them.
I have been using these with a pair of 4x6 Kicker speakers on my 2006 Jeep Wrangler and they work great. also have a kicker sub amplifier connected to the factory amp so I have plenty of bass from that source. It was unnecessary to have low bass and a slight distortion coming from It works well with these.
The 5" is hooked up to an old factory radio a bit of bass goes through but not much, I mostly wanted the highs so it worked fine. The head unit has a bass setting that needs to be higher than the bass on rocksford powered subs.
Speakers that are 5" pop and crack as they are cranked up. By installing these sound blockers, I was able to resolve all my issues, and my speakers sounded worse than ever. With these, I could still get good midrange and high end response.
This product was easy to install and effective at removing them. This would have been helpful if I knew about them years.
It will take about 5 minutes. That worked better than I expected, my dash speakers sound almost like tweeters, and really bring out the high frequencies.
You can use these to block the bass if you use them properly. On my front dash I have them on a 4 inch pair of Rockford Fosgate speakers. I am very happy with them.
